Story
House trained: Yes Good with dogs: Yes – not reactive on leash around other dogs Good with cats: Unknown Good with kids: Yes – allows children to approach and pet him while on walks Training Leash Training: Good foundation; currently working with a trainer to improve “heal” command and not pulling on the leash on walks Crate Training: Not yet crate trained, but included in his training package with the trainer Known Commands: Sit, lay down, turn around, wait/stay before going outside Personal History: Buddy was not found through a shelter. We met him at a park and after checking for a microchip and posting on social media to find his owners with no response, we brought him home into foster care. Dog’s Characteristics Cuddling / Affection Level Very affectionate. Loves being pet on his head, body, and stomach. Enjoys physical closeness and attention. Play Behavior & Favorite Toys Loves playful interaction — jumping around, playful chase, and light wrestling when initiated by care giver . Favorite toys include: A treat puzzle “intelligence” toy A vibrating rope-and-ball toy that squeaks — he often hides and guards it like a prized possession. He allows us to pick it up to turn it on. Activity Level Active but currently building endurance, especially post-neuter. Typical walks are 10–20 minutes. He used to run with us and could walk 40 mins but is temporarily on moderated activity during recovery. Top Adjectives Confident, loving, intelligent, strong-willed but trainable, playful, attentive, attention seeking from care givers and handsome. Examples of These Qualities Loving: When he saw me cracking my sister’s back to relieve pain he gently nudged between us to "protect her." Confident: Walks into new environments calmly and observantly Intelligent: Solves treat puzzles quickly, fast learner with new commands and watches his surroundings with awareness Protective/Alert: Welcomes household members warmly but is cautious with unfamiliar people approaching the door. Very relational. Best Qualities Great companion, humorous personality, very friendly with familiar people and on dog walks, eager to bond. Favorite Things About Him His silly playfulness and the way he uses soft “talking” whines to communicate when he wants attention. Favorite Physical Characteristics His face! He’s a handsome dog. His expressive face and adorable pointy ears! Ideal Home A family with someone home often (work-from-home or flexible household) An active lifestyle with daily walks/play Indoor family pet — thrives inside with supervised outdoor exercise A home able to continue boundaries like “no kitchen, no couch,” which he does well with currently By the time he’s adopted, he will have completed crate training amongst others (we will have the full list) He would be a loving, fun, interactive companion for a household that wants a personable dog who engages and communicates. He’s eager to bond deeply with his people.

Story
5/7-Hello! My name is Clover, because I’m a lucky girl! And I’m lucky because I was saved from the code red list! The people here think I’d make a good companion, and I have to admit I totally agree! I am only about a year old and weigh 40 lbs. I’m not too big and not too small, I’m just right. I LOVE affection, so if you need cuddles I’m there. I walk pretty well on a leash already, but there’s always room for improvement. I get along with other dogs, but I need slow introductions. My spay day is coming up! I have current vaccines My adoption fee is only $100!

Story
Hi there! My name is Lola, I am about 18 months old and weigh about 42 lbs. I am very friendly, and I love to play! I’m still learning how to walk in a leash, but I’m excited to keep practicing! I do well with most dogs, I just need to be introduced slowly. I love people and affection! I would do best in a place with a good sized yard, because I still have some puppy energy in me and I need to get my wiggles out! My spay day is coming up! I am currently on my vaccines! My adoption fee is $100.
