Story
Joey's history is unknown, but he was loved by people sometime in his past. When he found himself in a feral colony, he looked for a friendly house. He was a lucky boy, and found the house of a Magicats foster. There, he peered longingly in the windows at the housecats inside, but he was afraid, so it took some creativity to lure him inside. Once he walked into the house, he never wanted to leave! Joey is a dedicated, loving house cat, with no desire to be outside again - ever. Joey is healthy, and now up to date on his vaccines, and ready to find his forever home! Joey is inquisitive, and very active and playful for a 3-4 yr old cat! He likes to be part of everything, and his people need to be careful that he is not underfoot when walking. Joey loves other cats - but he needs other cats willing to play with him, or he will be a pest! Joey's experience with dogs is unknown, but he is a brave little boy, and would likely do well with careful introductions to cat-friendly dogs. He is not suitable for small children, but should do well with older children capable of reading his cues. Please apply, and we can talk some more!

Story
Sassafrass, AKA Ms. Sassy, is a polite young tortie with genteel opinions she enjoys freely sharing. One of her favorite opinions is the desirability of a regular daily distribution of treats. Ms. Sassy likes to sit next to you while you're reading, but also does enjoy supervising you during household chores . Her favorite household chore is the laundry where she will jump onto the dryer and give you nose boops of encouragement. She also enjoys a sunny window where she can watch the birds flutter about. With her sister, Sadie, they like to watch sports or binge watch your favorite series. She does love to play and one of her favorite toys is the feather tease, she loves catching that little fluttering feather, she is so fast!  Not overly fond of dogs, she will hide when first meeting, but she could be open to calm, cat friendly canine in her life if introduced patiently. She does, however, love her sister Sadie. Since their elderly caregiver can no longer care for them, they have come to rely on each other to feel safe. She will do best in a quiet, well-ordered home, with cat-savvy humans who will appreciate her finer qualities.  Like to meet her and her sister?  Apply online and a meet & greet will be arranged.

Story
This sweet girl will take some time to let her walls down. She will need a safe hidey spot and some patience. But once she feels safe, her loving, affectionate personality will come shining through. She is very much a people cat and is happiest when melting into your lap, getting head scratches and making biscuits. She is a gentle, calm cat, but also enjoys her play time. She does great with other cats. This special girl will bring warmth, joy, and companionship to those fortunate enough to adopt her. We don't know how she is with dogs or very small children so very careful introductions will be needed. Chancy needs to be kept 'Inside Only' for her safety. She has recently developed asthma symptoms and is now on daily medication (simply put it in some canned food) to control it. She's doing great!

Story
Hi there! I’m a playful, loving little goofball who believes life is better with toys, furry friends, sunshine, and LOTS of cuddles! I’m a total playtime enthusiast! Cat toys are my favorite, and I love chasing, pouncing, batting, and running around like I have somewhere very important to be! I especially love playing and zooming around with other kitties. I can get a little rough with smaller cats, though, so my humans should keep an eye on our playtime and make sure everyone is having fun. When I’m not busy playing, I’m a professional lovebug. I purr ALL the time, love being held, and I have absolutely no respect for personal space. If you’re nearby, chances are I’ll be right up in your business because obviously that’s where I belong! Small dogs? Sure! I actually think they’re pretty fun—especially when they wag those adorable tails. I’m definitely curious about my little canine friends! I’d love a kitty companion, too! I think I’d thrive in a multi-cat home, as long as everyone gets proper introductions and we’re given time to get comfortable with each other. And when I need a break from all my important kitty activities, you can find me sunning myself by the window or hanging out in a catio, watching the world go by. Birds, squirrels, people… I like to keep up with the neighborhood gossip. So, if you’re looking for a playful purr machine, professional cuddler, and tiny personal-space invader, I might just be your perfect match!

Story
My name is Tippy Toes for my four white toes. I'm a big, solid boy and very gentle. I like to flop down in front of you when I'm walking so you can give me some pets and maybe a gentle belly rub. I love toys, particularly laser pointers. Someday I'm gonna catch that little light! I like people once I get to know them but I do start out quite shy. Since I didn't get adopted when I wish I had, though, I've become very used to being an independent kid, and since I do need to get on with my life, until the day some lovely human shows up and appreciates my finer points, I'm going to work on living my best life inside and outside on this lovely small country place where my foster mom hangs out. If you'd like a great kitty who can do both things well, I'd probably like to talk to you about it. Just apply on line, and my foster mom will arrange it! Meantime, I'll be working on living my Very Best Life.
