Meet Thomasina! This beautiful tortie is around 6-8 years old, spayed, and ready to find the forever home of her dreams. When Thomasina arrived in our care, she had an obvious injury to the end of her tail. We aren't sure what caused the injury, but the vets at Animal Clinic & Hospital decided it would be best to amputate the injured part of her tail to prevent further complications. This left Thomasina with a unique, avant-garde haircut! You'll notice her tail is shorter than usual, and the whole length of it was shaved for her surgery. We expect the fur on her tail to grow back normally with time. Thomasina is a DELIGHT! Our entire staff love Thomasina and her chatty, outgoing personality. She seems content napping by herself in her cat condo, but springs up with excitement every time a human friend approaches. She will talk your ear off until you finally fold and give her the head scratches she so desperately needs. Thomasina is destined to be someone's treasured best friend, and we hope it won't be long before they find each other. We aren't sure if Thomasina has lived with cats or dogs in the past, but she has shown a distaste for other cats while at the shelter. For this reason, Thomasina would likely do best as an only cat. We do offer a seven-day foster period with each adoption, which helps to ensure a good fit for all members of the family. Those interested in Thomasina should come visit her at HSoP! Our cat lobby is open from 1:00-6:00pm Monday through Saturday and dog kennels close at 5:00. HSoP is located at 2019 E White Ave Moscow, ID 83843
