Story
Atlas is the kind of cat you don’t forget. He’s been through more than most—coming to us with injuries and needing time, care, and patience to start healing. You can still see pieces of that journey in him… but what’s incredible is what hasn’t changed. He’s still gentle. Still kind. Still chooses trust. Atlas isn’t a loud, in-your-face kind of cat. He’s the quiet one who watches, who waits, who learns that maybe… just maybe… this time is different. And when he realizes he’s safe? That’s when you see it—the soft eyes, the slow blinks, the quiet companionship. 💙 Gentle, resilient soul 🐾 Has been through a tough start but continues to heal 🏡 Needs a patient, understanding home

Story
I’m spending some time in a foster home right now while I heal and get ready for adoption. I’m not quite ready to go home just yet, but I’m getting closer every day! If you think I might be the one for you, let the humans at the shelter know and fill out an adoption application. That way, when I’m ready, we’ll already be one paw closer to forever. 💛

Story
Looking for a natural, eco-friendly way to keep your property free of mice and pests? Our working cats are ready to clock in! These cats come from outdoor or feral backgrounds and prefer the freedom of a barn, shop, shed, or stable over the life of a house pet. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and healthy, but they are not suited for indoor living or cuddles. What they do love is having a safe place to stay, regular food and water, and the ability to patrol their territory. Give a cat who can’t live the traditional “pet life” a second chance—and gain a hardworking teammate in return. If you’ve got a barn or outbuilding that needs a guardian, one of our working cats would be thrilled to call it home. All they ask for: • A safe shelter (barn, shop, shed, or similar) • Daily food and water • Basic care and kindness In return, you’ll get a low-maintenance resident who helps keep your property pest-free. A win-win for everyone!

Story
Chalk Board may look a little unsure right now, but that’s just the shelter talking—not his true personality. This handsome boy is still adjusting to all the noise and activity that comes with shelter life. It can be a lot for a sensitive cat, so he tends to tuck himself in and watch the world carefully. But if you take a moment to sit with him, you’ll see that he knows people mean well. He just needs a little reassurance and patience to feel safe. Chalk Board is a good boy with a gentle heart, and once he’s in a calm home where he can relax, we believe his confidence will grow more and more each day. And just like his friend Chocolate Sauce, Chalk Board has one extra feature that makes him especially adorable—a cute little bob tail that gives him tons of character. He doesn’t need much… just a soft place to land, a patient family, and someone willing to show him that life can be good. Chalk Board deserves that chance. 🐾

Story
Fernando is a quiet, thoughtful tabby who’s still learning that the world can be a safe and gentle place. He tends to observe from the sidelines at first, preferring the comfort of a cozy hideaway while he takes everything in with those big, soulful eyes. This is a cat who blossoms with patience. Give Fernando time, soft voices, and a calm environment, and you’ll start to see his guard slowly come down. He isn’t the type to demand attention—but once trust is built, those quiet connections mean everything. Fernando would do best in a peaceful home that understands shy cats just need space and consistency to feel secure. He’s looking for someone who sees past the first impression and understands that love doesn’t always arrive loudly—sometimes it arrives softly, one small step at a time. If you’re the kind of person who believes the most rewarding bonds are earned, Fernando may be your perfect match. 💛
