Story
Kitty Bean is a 10 year old cat and has had only had one home. I recently found out that I am allergic to cats and need to find her a good home for her remaining years. She is an overall good cat though she doesn't like to be held she will get in your lap on her own terms and loves to be petted. She does not like other cats at all and will tolerate a dog but will never befriend it. She will play some and gets around just fine. She is litter trained. She is an inside cat and only likes to go outside if someone is with her, or if she sees a bug to chase. She has a homemade cat tower that she LOVES and it sits on a pet carrier that can double as a container for her litter box. There is a door to the pet carried that can be removed.

She enjoys attention until she’s had enough and will let you know when it’s time for a break. She’s lived her whole life in a loving home and came to us through no fault of her own due to family allergies. Meet Lucy, a beautiful black cat with a sharp mind and an independent spirit. Lucy isn’t looking for a lap to curl up in — she’s looking for a job! As part of our Working Cat Program, Lucy would thrive in a safe outdoor environment such as a barn, workshop, warehouse, or garden where she can patrol the area and keep rodents in check. Feral cats like Lucy aren’t socialized to humans, but they play an important role in helping communities stay clean and pest-free. All working cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and they simply ask for a safe shelter, daily food, and fresh water in return.
