Mozza (Case #25-47) Breed: Domestic Short Hair Age: 7 years Sex: Male Activity Level: Low At the Shelter Since: March 2025 Gets Along with kids: Yes Gets Along with dogs: Potentially with calm ones Gets Along with cats: NO CATS Meet Mozza This sweet boy came to us in March with numerous wounds and severe ear mites. He has been on the mend for a while and is finally ready to start his new life! He is extremely affectionate and LOVES people. He could spend all day curled up with his owner taking in all the love possible. He spends his time curled up napping and is overall a low energy kitty! He has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). While that might sound a little scary at first, here is a breakdown of what FIV really is: FIV is a virus that weakens a cat’s immune system which can make them vulnerable to other infections, but many FIV positive cats live long, healthy and happy lives with proper care. It’s not contagious to humans or dogs, but it can be spread to other cats. Due to Mozza’s diagnosis, he is looking for a home where he can be the only cat. He has plenty of love to give and would thrive in a home where he can just relax all day and be spoiled like he deserves. If you’ve been looking for a laid-back, loving cat who just needs a chance, Mozza would be the perfect fit for you! He is being kept in a separate room from the other cats, so if you wish to meet him, please call the shelter to schedule a time!
