Winnie is the sweetest and cuddliest girl! She loves to play ball, go for walks and go on hikes. She also is down to just snuggle on the couch, or in the bed! She is house trained, leash trained, and has gone through E-collar training as well. Winnie is a smart dog who will give you so much love and joy in your life. We are looking for a new home for her where there are no cats, as she has had issues with our two cats in the home. She gets along well with her two dog siblings. We aren't sure how she is with young children, but she loves her human family members unconditionally. Her ideal home is with someone who can be patient with her quirks and continue to give her a structured environment and routine. She thrives when she has a purpose in the home.

MEET OLLIE #2! Ollie is a 2-year-old, 49 lb Catahoula mix who’s as smart and striking as he is sweet. He’s potty trained, good with cats, and does well with most dogs after a proper introduction. What Ollie really loves, though, is exploring the outdoors — hiking trails, horseback rides, and adventures with his person are his happy place. At home, Ollie is loving and affectionate but can be protective of his space, so he’ll do best with an experienced owner who understands the importance of structure and leadership. He hasn’t been around kids yet, so an adult-only home is preferred until we know more. Ollie does experience separation anxiety and will need to be crated in a secure, heavy-duty crate when left alone. He’s not destructive — he just misses his people and tries to find them. A consistent routine and continued training will help him thrive. MEET FRANKY!! Franky is full of life and love! He loves to play, loves to cuddle, go on walks/runs, and and hangout with you. He's a goofy boy, but very obedient. He's already leash trained and knows basic commands!! Franky loves to lounge, he will even watch TV with you! He is fully housebroken AND crate trained! He likes to chase birds and catch flies. He responds quick to commands and learns quickly...and would do great with someone interested in teaching him new commands, tricks and skills. He enjoys playing with water from a hose, but not yet sure how he feels about actually swimming in a pool. Franky appears to be dog-selective, so intros will need to be done slowly and properly and we suggest with the assistance of the Trainer. No intros with cats yet, so that will be an unknown until intros can be done. Given Franky's insecurity and fearfulness, we believe a home with no kids would also be best. We are unsure how that would affect his stress or confidence levels. Note: FRANKY NEEDS AN EXPERIENCED ADOPTER. He needs to be acclimated slowly with a calm, consistent environment, among dog savvy individuals able to read dog behavior and who are familiar with fearful dogs. No strangers, family members, kids, neighbors, etc coming into the home or yard for several weeks until Franky has learned to feel safe and trust. Kennel training is a must----from the get-go, on Day One. (Games such as Tug of War and such will NOT be suitable and a no-go as it brings anxiety, stress and confusion as to the feeling of safety/security/hierarchy for the dog.) Kenneling should also continue to be followed when anyone unknown to the dog comes into the home, even after 3-3-3 decompression has been completed. Our trainer will perform intros with him in the boarding facility and professional Training with the trainer will be provided by the Rescue to make Franky's transition an easy one, and remove much of the stress of a new environment, with new people. Additional sessions can be available going forward as needed, for insecurity/lack of confidence. Our goal is to set this pup UP FOR SUCCESS, the right way, straight out of the gate! Bruce was found wondering my son's apartment complex. Steps taken to find owners, no one claimed him. We named him Bruce Wayne because of his Batman ears, which had been clipped. We decided to keep Bruce because he seemed to fit our family. We even took him on a vacation to California. Forward to months later and he has become aggressive towards our 10 year old daughter. He is possessive of spaces growling and lunging at her. He also growls at my other dog for the same reason. I have been working to correct this behavior, but short of using extreme force, nothing has worked. Bruce would be perfect in a home with only adults and non Alpha dogs. He can be very sweet. Loves to snuggle. Loves car rides, going to dog park, long walks. He LOVES other dogs. I want to find Bruce a loving home. I am sad that we have not been able to change this behavior, but I also do not want to keep Bruce in a situation that has only escalated. My daughter is now very afraid of him.
