Story
Blue was found roaming alone in the desert. She was very scared and apprehensive. We brought her to PAC to get checked out. There she was chipped and given a couple shots. Although we only intended to foster her for a few days, she has been with us since August 2024. We have two other small dogs that she is great with. She is also great with my eleven and seven year old kids. She does very well on walks and loves to run off leash. We do not know how long she was alone in the desert, or what her life was like previously. She has a fear of males (until she warms up to them). She does not like the rain, especially thunderstorms. Although she is fine with kids they would have to understand to be gentle with her. Blue is extremely timid, and will need a lot of patience. She will need someone to work with her on a daily basis.

Meet Wade, a Catahoula mix who’s 53 pounds of good boy behavior! Wade rated an A+ on a recent sleepover! He’s what his person had to say: “ Wade is leash-trained, housebroken and a couch potato who loves to run! He got to go on a hike: I encountered a couple otherdogs while hiking. I was really excited to see them, but they had their own walks to do so I had to let them pass. Wade did very well overnight. He had no trouble getting into the car. He laid right down when we brought him inside.
