Story
Meet Strider 💨—a fun, bouncy goofball who runs on enthusiasm and good vibes. Strider is social, playful, and full of personality. He loves to get out, stretch his legs, and join in the fun with other dogs, often showing a silly, energetic play style. He’s had moments of being a little too excited in group settings, but he responds well to redirection and can settle back into play. He’s also shown a softer side—enjoying walks, checking in with his people, and being generally vocal about how ready he is for the next adventure (usually immediately 😄). Strider is looking for a home that can match his energy, guide his excitement, and appreciate his goofy, big-hearted charm. With structure and outlets for his zoomies, he’s going to make someone an incredibly fun, loyal sidekick. 🐾

Story
You know, I am named "Tuffy" but what if I am just a "Softy"?? I am an active and sweet boy and I am kind of a goofball, too. I came from a very nice couple who loved me very much, however, they were homeless. Now don't get me wrong, they took EXCELLENT care of me, but I am a BIG puppy and they were having a hard time taking me on the buses or letting me into the shelters :( So, my parents asked the rescue to take me in and find me the right home, so here I am, looking all buff- if you ask me :) I am a GORGEOUS Catahoula boy, tall, merle and HANDSOME!! My eyes tell my story and it is a good one! I have time on my hands and I am a playful and fun kind of pup. BIG puppy- 65# and growing :) I am learning my manners and am making ALL kinds of friends at the rescue, but I am waiting for the SPECIAL FRIENDS who will give me my WILDEST DREAM- A HOME! SO, look me up, don't wait... APPLY!!!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Introducing Hondo, the loyal and brave companion you've been waiting for! Hondo is a true good boy, showcasing his friendly nature with both people and fellow furry friends. He strikes the perfect balance between confident and respectful, making him a wonderful addition to any household dynamic. While Hondo may be a bit head shy when it comes to leashes, it's a trait rooted in his past experiences - his ears once caused him discomfort. But with patience and understanding, he's slowly overcoming this challenge. This resilience highlights his adaptable nature and willingness to grow. Crate training is a breeze for Hondo, reflecting his cooperative spirit. He's well-versed in the art of sitting and enjoys eating a peaceful meal. These traits make him a joy to train and a promising companion for both new and experienced pet owners. Hondo's ideal home is one that's lively and active, as he thrives in an environment where he can stretch his legs and engage in the joyful act of running. With a strong recall foundation already in place, he's open to further fine-tuning this skill. This warrior-dog's name is music to his ears, and he responds to it with enthusiasm. Though his recall could use a bit more polish, his eagerness to learn shines through. Hondo's adaptable and resourceful nature, coupled with his receptive attitude, make him a loyal partner for all your adventures. If you're seeking a four-legged friend who embodies both resilience and companionship, look no further than Hondo. He's ready to stand by your side and show you the depths of his affectionate heart. Don't hesitate to welcome this valiant spirit into your home! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
