Story
Ollie and Mindy were my son’s dogs. Ollie is 6 years old and is very sweet! But very motivated by food so can’t keep food out or he will eat it all. He grew up with kids 12, 10 & 4. Loves kids. He has a pit bull sister named Mindy who he is very close to. I would love it if they could stay together. They are very close. I took them in because my son is going through a very rough separation and is living in a studio apartment where he can’t have dogs. His ex surrendered them to the SPCA but I rescued them. I’m 73 and have a senior dachshund who is in poor health and I don’t have a fenced in yard. My son and his ex don’t seem to be getting anywhere with their custody issues and I can’t keep them here forever. It is a lot for me having two large dogs and no fenced in yard. They would do best with a big yard and room to roam. I will waive fee to anyone who can take them both.

Story
Meet our handsome boy, John. John's story as he was re-rescued from another rescue that was closing down and he only had one previous owner before he found himself surrender to Animal Control for having too much energy. John is a great dog who is friendly with all dogs loves children, and he is a little shy at first when meeting new people, but quickly warms up with his favorite treats. Our ideal home for John would be an active home with a big yard as he loves to run and play outdoors. Jon's DNA test showed he was 53% Catahoula and the rest was a mixed breed of hound mixes and guard mixes. He is currently residing in Loxahatchee Florida. We do ask for an application to be filled out before a meet and greet. However, if you have additional questions feel free to email us at info@kibblezoflove.org. The adoption fee for John is $300 and he is up-to-date on vaccines, healthy, micro chipped, and on monthly preventatives If a dog is listed they are still available.  ##1583193##

Story
Meet Cane – A Loyal Companion Looking for the Right Home Cane is a 7-year-old Catahoula mix with a big heart and strong protective instincts. He’s been a beloved part of our family, but with the recent arrival of our baby and other household changes, Cane has struggled to adjust. We’ve seen increased reactivity, especially around our other dog, my husband, and the baby, and he has had a couple of biting incidents. Because of this, we are seeking an urgent rehoming situation with no children or other pets. Cane would thrive in a calm, structured environment with someone experienced in handling dogs with behavioral needs. He’s loyal, smart, and deeply bonds with his person — he just needs the right setting to feel safe and understood. This is not a decision we take lightly, and our hope is to find Cane a second chance in a home where he can succeed. If we’re unable to rehome him, we may be forced to make an incredibly difficult decision in the interest of our child’s safety.

Story
Meet Marco! Marco is a lively, high-energy Catahoula mix who came to us through a transfer from Lee County. As a breed known for their intelligence and endurance, Marco thrives when given plenty of physical activity and mental challenges. He’s a smart boy who would greatly benefit from a family or adopter committed to continuing his training and helping him develop good manners and focus. Marco is still learning how to behave appropriately around children, and because of his energetic and sometimes exuberant nature, he would do best in a home with older kids or adults who can confidently manage and guide him. He would truly shine in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can run, explore, and burn off his abundant energy safely, or with someone who leads an active lifestyle and can include him in regular walks, hikes, or play sessions. One of Marco’s favorite activities is playing in the pool—he loves the water and enjoys cooling off with a splash, which is a fun way for him to stay engaged and happy. He also gets along well with other dogs, especially when socialized properly, and would likely thrive with a canine companion to keep him company and match his playful spirit. Marco is highly food motivated, responding eagerly to treats, which makes training sessions both productive and enjoyable. With consistent, positive reinforcement and plenty of exercise, Marco is ready to become a devoted and well-behaved member of an active, loving family who can meet his needs and help him grow into the best version of himself.
