Story
Po boy is a 5 year old catahoula hound who is very loving and very high energy. (Birthday 2/14/20) We have had him since he was 8 weeks old, and had him trained by a professional dog trainer. He is crate trained, house broken and great once on a leash. (However it can be difficult to put his collar and leash on as he thinks you are playing with him) He is great around our small children & other dogs, however he does not know his own strength and can be a bit of a bull in a china shop. He does have high energy moments where he can scratch and jump on you, and being so large, can hurt. My husband and I both work full time and unfortunately do not have the time to give him the attention I know he needs. When we go on vacation, we book him at pet paradise. They do require an up charge for Po Boy, stating he needs more “one on one” care because he is difficult to leash initially, but once on a lease he’s great.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Our Sweet Surprise Litter!   Foster update:  Sweet Tower is settling in well and making great progress in her foster home! She is crate and potty trained and loves chew toys.   Tower is a talker—she loves to bark, whether she’s excited, curious, or letting you know she hears something outside. Because of this, she’d do best in a quieter home with low foot traffic. Busy households with lots of comings and goings are a bit too overwhelming for her.  She’s still working on her confidence. Large crowds and noisy environments make her very nervous, so she needs a calm, patient family that will give her time to adjust and feel safe. Tower would thrive in a peaceful home where she can enjoy quiet companionship, gentle encouragement, and lots of love.  She’s such a sweet soul who just needs the right environment to truly shine! ******She would do best in a home where she is the only dog.******  ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~   10 Adorable Puppies Looking for Forever Homes These ten precious pups came to Pet Rescue By Judy after an unexpected twist in their former owner’s life. Their previous caretaker, a kind woman with a heart for animals, had taken in several adult dogs under the impression that they had already been spayed and neutered. A couple of months later — surprise! — she found herself caring for a full litter of energetic puppies. Unfortunately, due to health issues, she was no longer able to care for the growing group and reached out to us for help. Now, these happy, healthy pups are ready to find their forever families!   Puppies require time, patience, and consistent training — but the reward is a lifetime of unconditional love.    A fenced yard is preferred so they can safely romp, play, and burn off their puppy energy ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~    Important Information for New Puppy Parents   Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities. To help your puppy grow into a happy, confident, and well-adjusted adult dog,  dedication to obedience training, socialization, and consistent potty training is essential .   We  strongly recommend that the  entire family  participates in puppy training classes . This not only helps build a strong bond with your new pup but also ensures that everyone is using the  same commands and techniques , creating a clear and consistent environment for learning.   **Puppies thrive with structure, patience, and positive reinforcement—and so do their families!  Let’s set them up for a lifetime of love and success. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Dragon — a big-hearted cuddle bug    Dragon is a sweet, affectionate girl who loves nothing more than a good cuddle and a long walk. She’s happiest when she’s by your side, exploring the neighborhood or curled up on the couch enjoying a belly rub.  Personality & likes  Total cuddle enthusiast — will happily nap in your lap or lean into pets. Loves long walks and scent-exploring outdoors. Enjoys short, gentle play sessions with more submissive or calm dogs. Affectionate, calm in the home once she’s settled. Needs & best home No other dogs (preferred while she works on her social skills). Dragon is making progress but would do best living alone for now so she can continue her training without stress. Adult-only household. She’s looking for a calm, predictable environment with adults who can provide consistent handling. Food-aggression work needed. She needs an adopter who will continue positive, structured training around feeding time (management + behavior work with a trainer experienced with resource guarding is ideal). Experienced adopter preferred. Someone patient, consistent, and willing to work with a trainer or follow a behavior plan.   A fenced yard is preferred so she can safely romp, play, and burn off her puppy energy    Important Information for New Puppy Parents   Welcoming a new puppy into your home is an exciting and rewarding experience—but it also comes with important responsibilities.
