Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.               Precious is a fantastic companion and a loyal dog. She loves to snuggle (and snore!) and when it is a bit colder she loves to snooze with you under a blanket. She is very playful and doing zoomies outside is one of her favorite pastimes. When you come back home she will wag her tail so hard that it almost hits her in her face. She continues to be a calm dog indoors and does perfectly when she is alone.  She is not a barky dog but will alert you by barking once when the doorbell is rung. She learns commands easily; in a matter of days, she learned to sit and stay when we put her food on the ground. We can even walk out of her sight without her running towards her bowl. She loves people but can be a bit nervous/protective when new people or dogs approach her. She usually does warm up to people quickly though. Due to a lack of socialization, she still needs to work on her dog reactiveness. At this time she should be the only dog in the home. Precious requires a home with a fenced in backyard for her to romp and play in. She does not do well with other animals, so she must be the Queen of the house!  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 26, 2024, 5:56 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Herschel was surrendered to PRBJ when his family was moving and was unable to bring him.  He is a playful little pup who is potty trained.  He is already good on a leash and enjoys his walks.  An active home would be great for him especially someone who would love a walking or running buddy.      Some thing his foster mom has to say about him He’s very well mannered. Knows how to sit and lay down. Loves to cuddle. Has to be touching you at all times when he goes to bed. Very good watchdog. Does not bark excessively. Listens when you call him. Gets along very well with my older dog. Loves to play. He does get a little bit of separation anxiety. Cries and whines when locked in a room by himself.     New puppy parents must be dedicated to obedience, socialization and potty training to ensure the pup grows up to be a happy and well-adjusted dog. We recommend the ENTIRE family attend puppy training classes. This ensures that all family member are using the same commands and techniques.         Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 26, 2024, 5:56 pm

Story
Bindi is a uniquely beautiful 6 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog. She is housebroken, has a mellow energy level and is calm and well behaved in the home - she is already trustworthy in the house and does not need a crate or kennel. While she does well meeting new people outside of the home, she is protective over her home and belongings when guests come into her home. The rescue will provide new training for an adopter at no cost to help her start off on the right foot at learning to allow guests to come into the home successfully, but she will need an experienced, committed adopter ready to work with her. Bindi is part of our rehoming program and her current family is rehoming her because she does not get along well with the other dog in her home. Bindi is not reactive when meeting new dogs out in public or on walks but again struggles with sharing her space and belongings with them. She would do best as the only dog in the home. We are recommending a home without small children for Bindi, older kids would be okay.  Adoption fee $150, Bindi is spayed and current on vaccines. Located in Orlando, FL. ##2008383##
