Story
Looking for a homebody to watch your favorite shows with? Meet Grayson! This handsome, sweet and snuggly boy is smart, eager to please and never fails to entertain with his cuteness and charming personality. Grayson is potty trained and loves his crate. He will happily go in on command and even goes in on his own when he knows it's time to eat. As a very smart boy and treat aficionado, he already knows an impressive list of commands and easily picks up on new ones. Have other dogs in your life? Grayson's becomes quick besties with almost every pup he meets. Cats? He's really only met the neighborhood street cat and was quite gentle! Now, what about humans? He adores those close to him, but as a boy who lived in a crate for the first 6 months of his life with minimal interaction, it takes some time for him to warm up. Be ready pay a hefty cheese and hot dog tax as he gets to know you! If you're looking for a best boy who will make you laugh and keep your lap warm on cool nights, Grayson's your guy!

Story
Atticus is a 3½-year-old Catahoula Leopard Dog with the striking eyes and beautiful markings typical of his breed. This handsome, neutered, and fully vaccinated boy is ready for his next great adventure - and a forever family who understands what makes Catahoulas truly special. Like many of his breed, Atticus is loyal to his people, protective of his home, and has an impressive brain that learns new tricks faster than you can grab the treat bag. He’s mastered the “place” command, which helps him know his boundaries - something he thrives on. Atticus recently stayed with a temporary foster who has other dogs in the house and he has shown curiosity but no sign of aggression; this same behavior has also been observed recently in a boarding facility. With proper introductions and an owner that understands this breeds’ natural protective tendencies, he could coexist successfully with another dog.Give Atticus a job, a puzzle toy, or a good game of fetch, and you’ll have one happy dog. He enjoys hiking, park walks, fetch, and car rides. In the evenings, he’s happy to relax and cuddle after an active day and is a devoted companion. He bonds fast and hard with his people, and wants nothing more than to be with his people for snuggles on the couch, walks or just to hang. He is good with older children and lived successfully with a cat in the past; however, due to not living with a cat for a few years now, it may be best that he live in a household without cats unless the owner is willing to slowly and carefully re-introduce Atticus to living with cats again. As is common with Catahoulas, Atticus is loyal and naturally protective of his home and family. Atticus has lived in both an apartment and a house and has previously done very well with his fosters when his exercise, socialization, and training needs were met and he was given appropriate boundaries. Like any Catahoula, he’ll do best with an owner who understands his protective instincts and keeps him mentally and physically engaged. His last foster situation lacked that guidance, so he’s hoping his new home will get him back into his well-mannered groove. If you are looking for a devoted, intelligent, and loving companion, Atticus could be the perfect fit. Story
Arrow came into Lovable Paws with an arrow stuck in her side, hence her name. Pretty sad but when so many dogs need a name you kind of run out of ideas. She had had all the medical care she needs and is looking for a loving home. During her time of healing she had 9 puppies. (2 are still available for adoption)  This poor girl needs a break. Arrow is super sweet and longs for the day when she is in a forever home. Come on by to meet this wonderful girl. Some of her adoption fee has been sponsored.    ##2126765##

Story
Hey! This Girl George, and she is the BIGGEST love you will meet. Her favorite thing in the whole world is to bury her head in your chest and lean all her weight into you for as long as you will let her stay there. Georgia had a life as a stray and then a pound puppy but has acclimated to pet life like a pro. She is amazing with other dogs, and even more amazing with kids. She is a gentle giant and everything she does is calm and collected. Except cats - haha. Georgia would be best served in a home with no cats. She is perfectly crate trained, better than any dog I have had actually. She stays in at night without a peep! She takes a couple naps a day in her crate as well. She is not food aggressive, but does love the occasional turkey tax when I am making school lunches. She loves long-ish walks. We did a 2.5 mile walk a couple days ago and I wore her out. She walks like a charm on the leash and just loves keeping her nose down sniffing for a scent. She has not pulled after any squirrels or anything while we are walking. She has not met a person she did not love and greeted with her signature head lean. This baby would make any home better by having her in it. I have never seen a pup more appreciative of a safe home and love than Georgia. She knows she was rescued, and her sweet spirit shows. Help me find her a home or new foster 🤍
