Story
Arrow came into Lovable Paws with an arrow stuck in her side, hence her name. Pretty sad but when so many dogs need a name you kind of run out of ideas. She had had all the medical care she needs and is looking for a loving home. During her time of healing she had 9 puppies. (2 are still available for adoption)  This poor girl needs a break. Arrow is super sweet and longs for the day when she is in a forever home. Come on by to meet this wonderful girl. Some of her adoption fee has been sponsored.    ##2126765##

Story
Chloe is a gorgeous girl with `icy` blue and white eyes. She has a beautiful white coat with pretty brindle patches. She will run and jump a lot in her enclosure but once out on leash, you can really get her to focus. We would love so much to see Chloe find her favorite home. We know once in a home with a routine Chloe will flourish! She has lived with other dogs here at the sanctuary. If challenged she has not been one to back down so she would need an easy going friend if she were to have a housemate. She`s a pretty high jumper with a lot of endurance so she would do well with an active guardian. Hiking, walks on the beach....she`d love to share in your adventures. She really enjoys a good game of fetch as well. We are pretty positive she would love her downtime as well by being next to you on the couch!

Meet Cletus! 🐾 If you are looking for a pup with the perfect blend of brains, bravery, and a deeply loyal heart, meet Cletus! This striking guy is a wonderful mix of independent explorer and devoted companion, making him an absolute joy to have around. Brave, Curious, & Brilliant True to his nickname, Curious Cletus is fascinated by the world around him. He is highly independent and loves to investigate his environment, checking out new sights, sniffing out new paths, and politely observing other animals and people. He has a naturally brave soul, approaching new experiences with confidence rather than fear. But don't let his independent streak fool you—Cletus is incredibly tuned in to his humans. He is remarkably obedient for his age and follows instructions beautifully. He’s already starting to learn how to fetch, showcasing just how smart and eager to please he really is! Active Play & Sweet Snuggles Cletus is an adaptable boy who knows how to balance his energy: The Athlete: He loves to be active, burn off some energy, and run around the yard. The Snuggler: Once playtime is over, his favorite place to be is right next to his people, soaking up all the love and affection you’re willing to give. The Perfect Roommate: He gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children, making him a fantastic fit for an active family dynamic. Plus, he crates exceptionally well and loves having his own routine. Cletus has a resilient, steady spirit and a massive heart. He is ready to find a forever family who will guide his curiosity, match his active stride, and give him all the love he earned. Cletus is ready to find a family to call his own!

Story
Meet Tractor! 🐾 If you are looking for a devoted, Velcro-level best friend who will love you with every ounce of his soul, Tractor is your boy. While his brother Cletus is out exploring the world, Tractor’s entire world is you. He attaches to his people incredibly quickly and forms a deep, unshakable loyalty from day one. The Ultimate Shadow Tractor is the definition of a loyal companion. He has zero interest in wandering off or exploring on his own; instead, he wants to be right where the action is, sticking close by your side like a second shadow. He is an incredibly agreeable, easygoing boy who is up for absolutely whatever his person is doing. Whether you are running errands, moving from room to room, or folding laundry, Tractor is just happy to be included in the crew. All About the Snuggles Tractor is an exceptionally loving pup whose main motivation in life is affection. The Snuggle King: He thrives on human connection and quite literally just wants to soak up your attention, cuddle on the couch, and lean in for love. Family-Friendly: True to his sweet nature, he gets along wonderfully with other dogs and children, making him a gentle, loving addition to a household with plenty of hands to pet him. Tractor has a resilient, pure heart and so much devotion to give. He is looking for a forever family who will cherish having a permanent shadow and give him all the security, snuggles, and attention he craves. Tractor is ready to find a family to call his own!

Story
Sweet Nugget might be one of the most unusual short stacks we've ever had. We think he is mixed with Basset Hound and Catahoula, but who really knows. He loves to romp in the play yard and really wants all the head scratches you can give. Toy obsessed and very food motivated!Update from his snow foster 1/31/26:Nugget has been enjoying his stay-cation! He is a total love bug and wants nothing more than to be cuddled up next to you. He would be a great binge-watch buddy. He is great about sleeping in his crate. He’s not a chewer but has a healthy curiosity about his environment. We are working on his leash skills. In the dog park, he is faster than his little legs may suggest! He’s a ton of fun and would make an excellent and completely lovable companion Nugget was Heartworm Positive and was treated with a slow kill treatment plan.  His six month re-test is now NEGATIVE.  Adopters should follow-up with their vet regarding any additional treatments and monitoring.
