Arrow came into Lovable Paws with an arrow stuck in her side, hence her name. Pretty sad but when so many dogs need a name you kind of run out of ideas. She had had all the medical care she needs and is looking for a loving home. During her time of healing she had 9 puppies. (2 are still available for adoption) This poor girl needs a break. Chloe is a gorgeous girl with `icy` blue and white eyes. She has a beautiful white coat with pretty brindle patches. She will run and jump a lot in her enclosure but once out on leash, you can really get her to focus. We would love so much to see Chloe find her favorite home. We know once in a home with a routine Chloe will flourish! She has lived with other dogs here at the sanctuary. If challenged she has not been one to back down so she would need an easy going friend if she were to have a housemate. She`s a pretty high jumper with a lot of endurance so she would do well with an active guardian. Hiking, walks on the beach....she`d love to share in your adventures. She really enjoys a good game of fetch as well. We are pretty positive she would love her downtime as well by being next to you on the couch!

Sweet Nugget might be one of the most unusual short stacks we've ever had. We think he is mixed with Basset Hound and Catahoula, but who really knows. He loves to romp in the play yard and really wants all the head scratches you can give. Toy obsessed and very food motivated!Update from his snow foster 1/31/26:Nugget has been enjoying his stay-cation! He is a total love bug and wants nothing more than to be cuddled up next to you. He would be a great binge-watch buddy. He is great about sleeping in his crate. He’s not a chewer but has a healthy curiosity about his environment. We are working on his leash skills. In the dog park, he is faster than his little legs may suggest! He’s a ton of fun and would make an excellent and completely lovable companion Nugget was Heartworm Positive and was treated with a slow kill treatment plan. His six month re-test is now NEGATIVE. Adopters should follow-up with their vet regarding any additional treatments and monitoring.
