Amelia, who most commonly goes by “Millie” in her foster home, is ready for her next chapter! Millie is a sweet, silly 6-month-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. Not much is known about her history, but she came to the rescue in pretty rough shape and was dealing with some skin issues. After a few weeks of love and care, she is healing beautifully and acting like a normal puppy. She is left with a few bald spots where her fur is still growing back in, like on the top of her head, but it only adds to her goofy personality! Millie weighs about 30 pounds and is growing every day! Amelia should be 45-55 pounds when grown. She does well in her kennel and in the car. She is mostly potty trained and will do well with a daily routine. She is very social and constantly wants to play with the other dogs in her foster home. She has not been around children or cats. Overall, Millie is an adorable, bubbly girl who is so easy to love! She has been through some tough times, but she is ready to join your family and live her life to the fullest! Meet Hank, and the sweetest set of puppy dog eyes you have ever seen. Hank is a handsome man with a unique dapple coat. He is an active boy who loves to run outside in the yard, play tug of war, and show off his favorite chew toys to his friends in the kennel. Hank also LOVES chest rubs. He has interacted with other dogs at the shelter and didn't seem to care one way or another. All Pet Central animals are up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped (registration included), and current on parasite prevention. Dogs over six-months of age are heartworm tested. When adopting, we will ensure that you receive copies of veterinary and microchip records. Records are sent via email. Park in the parking lot and enter the facility. A PCH! representative will greet you and show you to the adoption room. Your new pet will be handed to you. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at PetSmart – Bloomington, IL: Park in the PetSmart (1606 E. Empire St.) Parking lot and enter the store. We will be set up just inside the store entrance. Let us know you are here to pick up your pet! A PCH! representative will confirm your information and hand you your pet. We will take a "Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at the Cat’s Meow Cafe: Navigate to PetSmart, park in the parking lot and enter the store. Locate a PCH! Representative at our adoption table and let them know you are picking up a Cat Cafe Cat. You will sign your final contract with your counselor and snap a picture of the completed screen. Head to the Cat’s Meow Cafe at 507 N. Hershey Rd and provide them with the snapshot of your final contract. They will get your cat and take a “Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. PCH! supports a 30-day no-fault return policy in which adopters are given the opportunity to find a better match.
