A PCH! adoption counselor will contact potential adopters within three business days (PCH! cannot guarantee any pet's availability, but we make every effort to accommodate adopters with a reply and possible alternative suggestions). An adoption counselor and client will then have a conversation to answer questions, discuss any medical needs for the pet and determine the suitability of a match (if necessary, we may opt to put adopters in touch with foster parents). After a match is made, clients will be asked to sign our adoption agreement and pay the adoption fee online through our secure payment system *Please see our modified no-risk return policy. (below) The PCH! adoption counselor will then set up a specific appointment time and location. Adopters should bring a pet carrier and/or a leash to pick up and their ID. Adult pets will be wearing a collar. It is important that clients arrive on time, neither early nor late. Cats and kittens are required to leave in a pet carrier. If your adoption is scheduled at Pet Central Helps!: Upon arrival inside the Crossroads Center complex (360 Wylie Drive), look for the black Pet Central Helps! semi-trailer, which is right outside of our facility (Suite 720). We will take a "Happy Adoption Day” photo with your pet and family. If your adoption is scheduled at PetSmart – Bloomington, IL: Park in the PetSmart (1606 E. PCH! supports a 30-day no-fault return policy in which adopters are given the opportunity to find a better match. If we cannot provide advice/tools to keep a pet in the home we offer these options: Exchange for a pet that may be a better match** Receive a refund minus a $40 processing fee** With this approach, we can often turn mismatches into opportunities! Story
Graham Cracker needs patience and a chance. This boy is so full of love, but as you can imagine, his history makes it harder for him to trust new people. Despite this, it doesn’t take long to win him over. Once you do, you have a best friend for life. Graham is playful, silly, and will never turn down a cuddle. If you’re willing to take the time, Graham Cracker will be worth it. No cats**

Story
Amelia, who most commonly goes by “Millie” in her foster home, is ready for her next chapter! Millie is a sweet, silly 6-month-old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix. Not much is known about her history, but she came to the rescue in pretty rough shape and was dealing with some skin issues. After a few weeks of love and care, she is healing beautifully and acting like a normal puppy. She is left with a few bald spots where her fur is still growing back in, like on the top of her head, but it only adds to her goofy personality! Millie weighs about 30 pounds and is growing everyday! Amelia should be 45-55 pounds when grown. She does well in her kennel and in the car. She is mostly potty trained and will do well with a daily routine. She is very social and constantly wants to play with the other dogs in her foster home. She has not been around children or cats. Overall, Millie is an adorable, bubbly girl who is so easy to love! She has been through some tough times, but she is ready to join your family and live her life to the fullest! Amelia's adoption fee of $300 covers her spay, microchip with registration, vaccines and flea & heartworm prevention. You can apply at gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/ ##2751013##

Story
Hello, my name is Bobbi! I am a beautiful 10 week old Catahoula Leopard Dog mix puppy (best guess). My littermates have the pretty Catahoula coloring. I am a very sweet and loving girl who should be a nice medium size when grown, maybe 30-40 pounds.  I am working hard on potty training but I am still a baby and will need more time and guidance to learn to potty outside consistently. I love to play with toys and play outside with the other dogs in my foster home. Bobbi is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines, and is on flea and heartworm preventions. Her adoption fee is $300, please apply at gfrpets.org/apply.  ##2760558##
