Story
4 year old Catahoula Lepord Hound mix. Energetic and loving dog who loves playing with other dogs, being chased around, and a good stick. Can be slow to open at start but is incredibly sweet when comfortable. Would prefer fenced in yard for him to play in. Great with other dogs and cats but can get too playful. Originally adopted as a puppy in Memphis who was in need of a hip surgery. Up to date on all shots and is in great health.

If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Adoption Application.   ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis.  We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.  Hi, I'm Zena.  I am looking for my forever home.  I'm a beautiful and unique looking girl who is playful and sweet once I'm comfortable.  I'm a young girl born around April of 2023.  I like a good walk and do pretty well on leash.  I do well with dogs, cats, and respectful kids.  I do love to play and can get a little rough, so any canine friends should be able to match that.  It takes me a while to warm up to strangers, and I probably wouldn't be great with toddlers.  School aged kids would probably be best.  My breed mix is anyone's guess.  I look like a I could have some catahoula leopard dog, maybe some beagle, maybe some bully breed.  It's really hard to say.     I'm crate trained and housebroken.  I'm also spayed, microchipped, current on my shots, and HW negative.  If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application and my friends with ARPO will be in touch! If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please complete the online Adoption Application.  If you would like to donate to this pet's care, please click here. November 18, 2024, 9:36 pm

Story
Hi. My name is Darla. My foster parents also call me Little D. 💜 As much as I love hanging out with my foster family, I would love to find a family of my own. It’s been really fun having two dogs and 4 cats to play with. I play really well with big and small dogs. I have learned to stay clear of the kittie’s murder paws when they yell at me. Gotta love healthy boundaries. I currently hold the title of worlds best snuggler and I would really love to maintain it. It doesn’t take much to make me happy. I listen pretty well and am very treat motivated. Please share so I can find a family of my own. 💜 Catahoula mix 💜 Good with dogs, cats, and kids 💜 Almost a year old! 💜 Fully vaccinated, spayed, and microchipped 💜 Weighs about 40lbs 📝 Adoption Application: https://form.jotform.com/secondchancespetsanctuarytx/Second-Chances-Adoption-Application 📍 Currently fostered in Indianapolis, IN

Story
River is a beautiful 3 year old dog who was adopted previously and recently returned through no fault of hers. She is submissive with other dogs, but loves to play hard. She is extremely rambunctious and would benefit from some behavior modification training. She seems to be a Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, and, requires a good deal of mental and physical stimulation. She can be affectionate and cuddly after a long day of physical exercise. We don’t know her past, but she came to us on the skinny side and can be shy in new environments. She tends to be much more confident with another four legged friend around. If you enjoy outdoor activities, River will be your best buddy. If you`d like to meet her, please submit an adoption application online at https://www.mistyeyes.org/adoptionapplication.

PLEASE READ: Thank you for your interest in one of our adoptable dogs! All dogs listed are still available. If interested, please complete our no obligation application. This can be found at www.waldosmuttleycrew.org. Select the Applications tab, then Adoption Application. THE APPLICATION MUST BE COMPLETED AND SUBMITTED BEFORE WE CAN START THE PROCESS. It can take up to a week to process an application. We are an all-volunteer rescue so please be patient. Our adoption area is limited to a 4 hour radius of Indianapolis. We try our best to provide all information in our bios. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask during the interview process. Some of our dogs have special requirements such as needs another dog in the home or requires a physical and permanent fenced yard. These requirements are not negotiable. Unless otherwise noted, we do not cat test our adoptable dogs. We also require that all pets in your household be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and on a monthly heartworm/flea preventative. E-MAILS: We do not respond to e-mail inquiries without an application. We regret that we cannot respond to every e-mail unless you fill out an application. All the dogs we offer for adoption have been spayed/neutered, wormed and microchipped, are up-to-date on immunizations, have been tested for heartworm and are currently receiving a monthly preventative. If the dog had additional medical issues, those have also been addressed. Visit our website www.waldosmuttleycrew.org for more information and to complete an application. Ogden, or Oggie Doggie as we like to call him, has such a zest for life!!! He loves people and attention ... armpit scratches and ear rubs are a favorite of his!!! Oggie is a 2 year old treeing walker coonhound/pointer mix weighing about 65 lbs. He LOVES to play with other dogs and is constantly involved in games of chase and wrestling. He is slightly dominant with males so, although he does play with other males well, would do best in a home with a playful girlfriend. Oggie is high energy so needs a large yard with at least a 5 foot fence; he can easily jump over anything shorter and will do so if he spots a bunny. He loves toys but is a "slayer" of the stuffed ones; they then have to be buried in shallow graves in the yard. LOL! Ogden is sure to keep you laughing with his antics; he has such a huge personality! His perfect home will be one where he won't have to be crated for long hours, a large yard with a 5 foot or higher fence, and must have a very playful female dog to be his best friend. Oggie Doggie's adoption fee is $225; he's neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and monthly heartworm/flea preventative. Applications are available at waldosmuttleycrew.org .
