Story
This is the most loyal boy I’ve ever met. I am moving suddenly and can’t take him with me. He knows several commands and loves to please you, playful, intelligent, stubborn, and sweet as pie. Always down for an adventure — loves his brother, but shy around some dogs out of fear because he has been attacked twice. true coonhound bark, and all the sass. (This separation is heartbreaking; he needs a family familiar with working/high energy dogs with active life-styles).

We try our best to provide all information in our bios. If you have any specific questions, feel free to ask during the interview process. Some of our dogs have special requirements such as needs another dog in the home or requires a physical and permanent fenced yard. These requirements are not negotiable. Unless otherwise noted, we do not cat test our adoptable dogs. We also require that all pets in your household be spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccines and on a monthly heartworm/flea preventative. E-MAILS: We do not respond to e-mail inquiries without an application. We regret that we cannot respond to every e-mail unless you fill out an application. All the dogs we offer for adoption have been spayed/neutered, wormed and microchipped, are up-to-date on immunizations, have been tested for heartworm and are currently receiving a monthly preventative. If the dog had additional medical issues, those have also been addressed. Visit our website www.waldosmuttleycrew.org for more information and to complete an application. Ogden, or Oggie Doggie as we like to call him, has such a zest for life!!! He loves people and attention ... armpit scratches and ear rubs are a favorite of his!!! Oggie is a 2 year old treeing walker coonhound/pointer mix weighing about 65 lbs. He LOVES to play with other dogs and is constantly involved in games of chase and wrestling. He is slightly dominant with males so, although he does play with other males well, would do best in a home with a playful girlfriend. Oggie is high energy so needs a large yard with at least a 5 foot fence; he can easily jump over anything shorter and will do so if he spots a bunny. He loves toys but is a "slayer" of the stuffed ones; they then have to be buried in shallow graves in the yard. LOL! Ogden is sure to keep you laughing with his antics; he has such a huge personality! His perfect home will be one where he won't have to be crated for long hours, a large yard with a 5 foot or higher fence, and must have a very playful female dog to be his best friend. Oggie Doggie's adoption fee is $225; he's neutered, microchipped, current on vaccinations and monthly heartworm/flea preventative. Applications are available at waldosmuttleycrew.org . Hi, I’m Buddiee Rocky! I’m a sweet, gentle hound with a sensitive soul, and I can be a bit of a shy guy when we first meet. Give me a little time, patience, and kindness, and you’ll start to see my loving, loyal personality shine through. I’ll benefit from some basic training as I learn the ropes, and I’d do best in a home without cats. What I really need is a calm, understanding family who will help me build confidence and feel safe at my own pace. Once I come out of my shell, I’ll be your devoted buddy, ready to share all the quiet moments and unconditional love I have to give.

Story
Hudson is a 13-year-old hound with a gentle heart and a soulful presence. He’s a loving, kind boy who enjoys belly rubs, quiet companionship, and lounging in his favorite spots. He also has a playful side and loves to run, so a home with space to explore would make him happy. Hudson does well around other dogs in open, outdoor settings, but would likely thrive as the only dog or with a calm companion. He does best in a peaceful home where he can relax. He may have mild seasonal allergies but responds well to extra care. He knows basic commands, though like many hounds, he listens best when he feels like it—or for treats. He enjoys stuffed toys, howls with trains, and sleeps well through the night. Hudson is being rehomed due to changes in family circumstances and deserves a home that can give him the time, space, and calm he needs.

Story
Meet Tessa! A 3 year old beagle English bulldog mix. I guess one of them designer Mutts. Beautiful dog indeed she is but..... Takes a very patient , willing, and very understanding person to adopt Tessa. Sadly she has had 3 homes and everyone quit as she was all over the map (she is much better now). She does it all and has no care as she does NOT HIDE WHEN DOING NAUGHTY THINGS. She is a total sweet heart. Bless her heart! She is just mischievous as hell! We are working hard to eliminate those awful behaviors. All while on a strict diet and lots of exercise through out the day. In the last few months she has lost good weight (she was too fat), has learned, and accepts correction, and progress is being made with basic obedience training. She is great when asked to stay still for baths, nail trimming, teeth brushing, ear cleaning finally! She is cat, dog, and kid friendly too! Tessa is house and crate trained, up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto, rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, microchipped, neutered, and on monthly heartworm flea/tick prevention. Updated: 2/1/2023 www.animalhousesanctuary.org We believe training is an ongoing process that needs to be worked on daily. New issues that arise, need to be addressed and/or rewarded. Understanding that continued training is a lifetime commitment, is very important. Out-of-state adopters are welcome at the adopter's expense. Meet & Greets are a required before proceeding with an adoption. We DO NOT ship any of our pets.

Story
Meet Karai!!! Karai is a 5-year-old, beagle TWCH beagle mix, who's been with us since fall 2020. Karai came to us transferred in from another rescue. She was extremely feral, supposedly. With time she showed us she is timid and shy but curiosity gets the best of her, always. Karai needs a home that will, embrace her curiosity, encourage her and not feel bad or sorry for her. She needs patience and nurturing, but an environment where she will not be held back nor limited. Be confident it's all okay. Every day is new to her as she improves. We do not shelter her or take any outrageous precautions to accommodate her insecurities. We encourage and expose her and introduce her to as many things, places, toys, food, locations, and adventures as possible. She is thriving and continues to thrive and improve every day! Karai is great with all dogs. She is best in the home with other dogs. She can be very playful with all dogs, and respectful of cats. Older kids would be best, if any. Karai loves her daily walks, a nice fence in the yard 4 ft minimum is a must, and a home with at least one other balanced, active, playful outgoing dog who will help her continue to overcome her fears is preferred. Karai is very food motivated. Oh, man is she ever! Loves all food! She is still a bit jumpy but each day we notice improvement. Patience is the key to best helping her be the best dog she was meant to be. Plus she's so sweet and calm and best of all LAZZZYYY! Karai is house and crate trained, up to date on all appropriate core vaccines including lepto and corona as well as rabies, dewormed, fecal tested negative, microchipped including free registration, spay, and current on monthly heartworm flea/tick prevention. Story
Chewy is a 4 year old who has lived through far more than any dog should. His life prior to Sketchy Mutts was very sad, and he is just learning to trust humans and enjoy the comforts of his new foster home. Despite his rough past, Chewy is a sweetheart. He loves to play and snuggle, and seems so eager to please. He does occasionally get vocal and growly when being asked to do something he doesn’t want to do (like go in his crate 🙄🙄) but with a little patience, Chewy will do just about anything for you. He is currently in a foster home with a male dog and a cat, both of whom he's doing quite well with. He is still a bit unsure of the cat, and gets short, supervised visits, but he seems interested more than anything. Chewy deserves the very best, and we're here to help him find it. Are you the perfect home for this good boy? Fill out an application today! *Adopters must live in Central Indiana, no more than 45 min from downtown Indy *Please visit website for how to adopt: https://sketchymuttsandunderdogs.org/adopt *Please note that we do not operate on a first come first served basis
