Her past wasn’t kind — she spent most of her life outdoors in a situation where she wasn’t treated with the care every dog deserves. Thankfully, someone stepped in, and she was brought to safety. She’s truly a gentle soul learning what it feels like to be loved — and she’s ready to find her forever home!

She knows sit, takes treats nicely, walks on a leash, and is ready to join you for daily adventures. Marlene gets along with others, keeps her kennel clean, and is crate-trained. She is good with kids ages 7 and up and would do best with a family who can provide structure, routine, daily exercise, and plenty of encouragement as she settles into her new life. Marlene has spent enough time waiting. Now, she needs someone who will look past the sadness in her eyes and show her that her best days are still ahead.
