Meet Radar!We believe this spotted beauty is a 1-year-old Catahoula mix, who we have come to learn is young and full of puppy energy! He currently weighs around 52 pounds and is fully grown, but his height is all in his legs! This friendly fella is finally ready to start looking for his forever home where he can be pampered and loved! Since moving into his foster home, we have learned Radar is actually quite the cuddler and loves to be by his people! He enjoys playing with his 2 fur foster siblings! He also enjoys napping with his teenage human foster sister! He is mostly potty trained and keeps a clean kennel. He doesn`t like to go into the kennel at first, but he doesn`t make a peep when he is in there! He walks decently on a leash but could still use a little training on not pulling. Radar is very smart and has quickly learned `sit` and almost has `shake` mastered! I have had so many chances in my young life. Seriously...I was found with four siblings at about 2.5 weeks old, dumped in a box at the post office... we were so, so sick and close to death. My rescue mom really worked hard to get us healthy and LIVE. And we did! About 6 weeks later, we all got parvo..... and my rescuer was able to nurse all of us out of it! All my siblings have been adopted, and I am ready too! I am somewhat shy and will take time to settle into my new family. But I will adjust. I am best with another dog, calm and confident, because I will mirror that energy. As a gorgeous catahoula/whippet mix, I have plenty of energy and I love to play! Fetch and chase games are my favorite . I am adoptable in Texas, I need to meet my family and you need to meet me! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX)

I came from a very nice couple who loved me very much, however, they were homeless.
