Meet Perry- our big, lovable boy with a heart of gold! This super-smart pup is highly food motivated and will learn pretty much anything if there are treats involved. He’s mastered sit, stay, lay down, roll over, and shake. Perry is both playful and affectionate, giving the best doggy hugs after a fun training session. At about 72 lbs, Perry dreams of having a fenced yard to explore or a buddy who loves exercise as much as he does. He needs to be in a home with no cats due to allergies. He’s the perfect mix of brains, energy, and snuggles, ready to join a family who will keep him active, loved, and learning new tricks. Story
I’ve fostered Scar for about two months, along side my personal dog that I’ve owned for three years (female pit). Scar has puppy energy and needs space to run. He obeys commands very well and is very attached to his owner. He follows me everywhere! He is kennel trained, as soon as I ask him he goes in or as soon as I grab a treat he runs to his kennel. He is used to being kept in the kennel on a full time schedule, about 8 hours a day. He still has a puppy bladder so he needs to go out often as of right now but he will stand by the door when he needs to go. Scar is very timid at first but after a couple sniffs he’ll love anyone he meets. He is very cuddly and will ask for belly rubs every opportunity he gets. I love him and did everything I could to keep him. My landowner has told me that I can no longer have 2 dogs and unfortunately I can’t give Scar back to his owner either. Scar is a great best friend for my dog and could be a great best friend for you or yours.
