Meet Daxx! 🐾 Hi there! My name is Daxx, and I’m a 10-month-old Catahoula Leopard Dog/Lab mix on the hunt for my forever family here at Heartland. I’m a happy, social, and friendly guy who loves people of all ages. Whether you're tall, small, or somewhere in between, chances are I’ll want to say hello and be your new best friend. I also enjoy hanging out with my fellow canine buddies, but I haven’t met any cats yet, so I’m not quite sure what I think about them. When it comes to fun, I’m all in! My favorite activities include: Going on walks Swimming Car rides Playing and adventuring I’ve got plenty of energy, so if you enjoy an active lifestyle, I’d make an awesome sidekick for hiking trails, lake days, road trips, and all the adventures life has to offer. The good news? I’ve already been to training and know some command. I'm also currently enrolled in the SPOT training program, so am perfecting skills I had learned when I was younger and learning some new cues and manners. If you're looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion to share your days (and maybe your couch), I might just be the perfect match for you. Think we could be best friends?
