COURTESY LISTINGLooking for a furry friend who embodies the spirit of adventure? Meet Melody, the adorable and spirited Transylvanian Hound (or maybe a Black and Tan Coonhound) looking for her forever home! At 3 years old and 60 lbs, Melody is bursting with energy, intelligence, and love. She's searching for a family who understands hound traits and can provide her with the active and engaging lifestyle she craves. Melody is a clever girl who loves playing games, especially searching for hidden toys. She already knows the command "sit" and will impress you with her obedience. When it's time to unwind, she's happy to relax with her plush toy trying to find the squeaker and keeping herself entertained. Melody is a great companion for outdoor adventures and long walks. She adores being outside and will accompany you on every exploration. While she enjoys her high-energy activities, she can also settle down and cuddle up, ready for some quality time on the couch. Melody has great house manners and is house trained and crate trained. She sleeps soundly in her crate, making bedtime a breeze. Car rides are a joy for her, and she'll eagerly join you. Melody is not a fan of cats due to her prey drive and would probably do best as the only pet in her home. She loves children and is friendly with strangers, showing her affectionate nature to everyone she meets. Like most hounds, Melody is strong on the leash. She requires an owner who can handle her strength and provide the guidance she needs. She's ready to bring her zest for life and infectious happiness into your home. Don't miss out on the opportunity to share your adventures with this special hound dog, Miss Melody! Apply to adopt today. This dog is a courtesy listing (not in the AARF program) but we will be reviewing applications and helping the owner find the right home for Melody. Please visit http://aarf-tn.com/adopt/adoption-app/ to apply.  Interested in adopting? (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Story
This dog is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $100 if picked up in TN, $175 plus transport fee for out of state adoptions. Looking for a four-legged friend who is silly, sweet, and super fun? Meet Willow, a lovable goofball ready to make you laugh and melt your heart. Willow has been staying with a professional trainer (Thank you, Carmen with Inspired Paws of Cookeville!) to help establish her foundation of basic obedience. Willow is a 15-month-old, 40lbs Mt Cur / Coonhound / Pit Bull Terrier mix who gets along great with other dogs who can match her energy, adores humans, and is confident. She loves to wrestle with stuffed toys, or play tug-of-war with her doggy pals. Willow also loves to fetch a tennis ball. When tuckered out from playing, she can often be found snoozing in her kennel, or curled up on a blanket. Willow has learned to walk well on leash and enjoys going for car rides.  Willow is quickly becoming at pro at the basic commands such as Sit, Down, Stay, Heel, Place, and Off. She is fully housetrained. When she is adopted, the trainer is happy to meet with her new family free of charge to help with the transition, show off her training, and support her new homecoming! The ideal home for her will have a fenced yard with enough space for her to run and play. She would also love someone who will take her on hikes and outdoor activities.  If you’re looking for a goofy and affectionate buddy who will make you smile and laugh all day, EVERY day, look no further than Willow.    Interested in adopting?
