Meet Cannon. Cannon is a 58-pound, 3-year-old Catahoula/Husky mix (born February 3, 2023) who’s equal parts adventure buddy and cuddle companion. With his striking looks and big personality, this handsome guy is ready to make a lasting impression—and steal your heart while he’s at it.Cannon has a medium energy level, which means he’s always up for some fun—walks, playtime, exploring the great outdoors—but he also knows how to kick back and relax with his favorite humans. He’s affectionate, spirited, and happiest when he’s part of the action (or snuggled up nearby).According to his previous owner, Cannon is both housetrained and crate trained—an excellent foundation for his next home. He loves children and does well with other dogs (a meet and greet is required to make sure it’s a perfect fit). In fact, Cannon previously lived with another dog and he definitely needs a doggy companion in the home to keep him company.Cannon does best in a home where someone is around most of the time. He has shown some separation anxiety in the past, but having another dog and a consistent routine can make a big difference in helping him feel secure and confident. Zeus is approximately 15-16 months old. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and on heartworm and flea prevention. Zeus is good with other dogs but does take some time to warm up to "strangers". Give him about 15 minutes! We do suggest no cats or children under the age of 10. He's pretty exuberant and may scare children. He would love a doggy friend! He is very high energy due to his past. He is also a love bug and loves to snuggle once he calms down. He is crate trained and if there is another dog in the home, would do best with meals in his crate.
