This happy bog is Spruce. Spruce is an approximately 3 year old male Catahoula mix. He weighs around 60 lbs. He was adopted as a puppy and then returned due to a divorce. Spruce is a little unsure about all this change but is hanging in there. He is sweet, playful and friendly. He loves dogs and needs another playful dog in the home. He requires a secure stockade fence in his new home. Spruce is currently in a boarding situation so he qualifies as a foster to adopt or a foster. He was house trained prior to going into boarding but he may need a refresher course. He is crate trained but could use some additional leash training. You can even put your hands in her mouth—she’ll just nudge them out with her tongue. She loves cuddles, squishes, and being close to her humans. She’s got a strong alpha personality and a high prey drive, so she’s not a match for small dogs or other small animals. However, she could do well with other large dogs who can handle her energy and play style. Ideally, she’d be in a single-dog home where she can be the center of attention—or with a confident big dog who speaks her language. Rosie listens well, bonds fast, and is tough, loyal, and full of heart. If you’ve got the space and energy for a powerhouse cuddlebug, Rosie’s ready to be your shadow.
