We adopted Rango from the OKC animal shelter in July, 2022. He absolutely loves people and wants to be involved with whatever is going on. He is very curious and thinks children are wonderful. He’s been around cats, dogs, horses, cattle, gun shots, anything you can do in the country, he’s seen it, done it. He has lots of energy and loves to run. He was supposed to be the man of the house's dog but has attached himself to the woman of the house and has too much energy for her. Ready to be re-homed. Great for a young family or for a country home. He is a young dog, maybe 4-5 years old. He is neutered and current on all shots. He has never shown aggression and is typically the low dog in the pecking order when in a group setting with multi dogs around.

Meet Rosie Rosie is a striking, high-energy girl we believe is a Catahoula Leopard Dog. She’s built for action and loves to run, leap, and play. Athletic and powerful, she’s happiest with room to move and a job to do. Rosie is amazing with people—gentle, affectionate, and unbothered by just about anything. You can even put your hands in her mouth—she’ll just nudge them out with her tongue. She loves cuddles, squishes, and being close to her humans. She’s got a strong alpha personality and a high prey drive, so she’s not a match for small dogs or other small animals. However, she could do well with other large dogs who can handle her energy and play style. Ideally, she’d be in a single-dog home where she can be the center of attention—or with a confident big dog who speaks her language. Rosie listens well, bonds fast, and is tough, loyal, and full of heart. If you’ve got the space and energy for a powerhouse cuddlebug, Rosie’s ready to be your shadow.

This happy bog is Spruce. Spruce is an approximately 3 year old male Catahoula mix. He weighs around 60 lbs. He was adopted as a puppy and then returned due to a divorce. Spruce is a little unsure about all this change but is hanging in there. He is sweet, playful and friendly. He loves dogs and needs another playful dog in the home. He requires a secure stockade fence in his new home. Spruce is currently in a boarding situation so he qualifies as a foster to adopt or a foster. He was house trained prior to going into boarding but he may need a refresher course. He is crate trained but could use some additional leash training. Rubys story began when she was found abandoned in a park with her five week old puppies. She was a devoted and attentive mama who kept her babies safe until they were old enough to find their forever homes. Now its Rubys turn to find a family. Ruby is a 3 year old, 44 lb sweetheart with a loving and athletic spirit. She loves romping outside, squeaky toys, learning new things, and curling up for cuddles with her people. She absolutely lights up when she sees familiar people. Her tail wag is endless and she happily soaks up belly rubs and affection. Shes housebroken, crate trained and has lived happily in a family setting with kids, dogs, and cats. Ruby is currently in her third week of board and train and is doing AMAZING. Her trainer is impressed with how quickly she picks up new skills and how eager she is to work. She has learned all kinds of obedience skills and manners. She is especially enjoying agility type activities and training. Ruby can be anxious in some new situations with new people, so shes looking for an adopter who will continue helping her build confidence and practice calm neutrality when outside the familiarity of home. The great news is that Connect Canine Training, LLC is offering continued training support to Rubys adopters, so you will have the support and guidance needed to help Ruby as she transitions to her forever home.
