Story
adoption donation : $599 weight 38lbs Age 6 months       Charlie is a sweet and friendly girl who loves everyone she meets. She was found abandoned at a truckstop in a rural part of Mississippi and luckily rescued by Wags. At the rescue, she is having a blast running and playing with all the dogs, she just loves other pups! In the house, she is mellow and chill and loves to follow her Foster Mom around.  Charlie has been spayed and vaccinated and is ready to travel to the northeast as soon as the weekend of August 9th. Charlie is housebroken at Wags but like any rescue pup will likely need some training as she adjusts to a new home. She has beautiful and appeared to be a Catahola Leopard dog, very common in Mississippi and known to be very smart and loving dogs. Charlie is just the best, she will  make a wonderful  member of the family.    Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter. Most of our dogs are in Mississippi and come up by Transport, dogs are listed along the Transport route or in an area where we may have volunteers who can help transport the dogs. We do have some of our dogs in foster homes in the northeast, we always need foster homes! Story
Here's what my friends at the shelter had to say about me! "Roux is just a wittle baby and she’s been in the shelter for a whole month! We leashed her up and she immediately gave belly to the first person she met, and then proceeded to let us continue to rub her belly. Once we made it outside she decided she loved to sun bathe, we’d catch her taking little naps in the sun whenever we weren’t loving on her. She is more shy during her temp test but she kept going back to try to figure out how to play! I can’t wait to see her blossom outside the shelter. "

"Get your motor runnin'! Head out on the highway! Looking for adventure and whatever comes our way!!!" That is one pawsome song right? My name is Wanda! I am 2 year old Catahoula mix :) looking for an ACTIVE family! They say I'm a very smart cookie, that sounds amazing!!! Who doesn't like cookies?! I know sit, fetch and learning to drop it. I have doggie friends and I've met the kitties and they are ok too! I am still a little nervous with new people and sometimes like to bork at them so they know I'm there. Foster mom is teaching me so many cool things all the time. I am crate trained and I LOOOVE belly rubs! I would do great with an active family that likes to go on hikes, adventures and give me lots of chewy toys and stimulate my growing mind! If you like to have a good time like me, have your people get with my people and let's get this pawty started!!! Local (Texas) adoption fee is $200 Out of state (Transport) adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area)

Story
I have had so many chances in my young life. Seriously...I was found with four siblings at about 2.5 weeks old, dumped in a box at the post office... we were so, so sick and close to death. My rescue mom really worked hard to get us healthy and LIVE. And we did! About 6 weeks later, we all got parvo..... and my rescuer was able to nurse all of us out of it! All my siblings have been adopted, and I am ready too! I am somewhat shy and will take time to settle into my new family. But I will adjust. I am best with another dog, calm and confident, because I will mirror that energy. As a gorgeous catahoula/whippet mix, I have plenty of energy and I love to play! Fetch and chase games are my favorite . I am adoptable in Texas, I need to meet my family and you need to meet me! Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.  Hello world, my name is Nayla! I am looking for a special family that I can love forever. My name means I love you.My passions are rides and going for walks. A canine brother or sister would be wonderful because I get the zoomies after my walks. Zoomies are much more fun with a playmate. I have a bit of separation anxiety and I don't like to be alone. I do have my crate that keeps me safe when you do need to run an errand and I cannot go along. My perfect family would have a big comfy couch where we can cuddle and watch TV or play games. I am content to sleep and be a couch potato while my foster mom works from home. I am learning be explore the yard, oh and a fence would be nice so that I don't go too far when zooming. I know lots of commands and sometimes I get distracted by new things. I can do stay and my release word is Mouse. When walking, I know how to halt and turn right not so sure why we would ever turn left, but working on it.I will do sit, stay, down, paw and rollover. Rollover is so so fun but it might take ma a couple tries to go all the way over.A playmate that is young like me would be ideal. I am 5 years old and weigh in at about 72 lbs.I am Catahoula Leopard Dog mixed with hounds and I am a big baby, please pet me and also belly rubs, rub my ears and you can even do my nails. Did I tell you I love car rides, Oh Yes. I tried out going through the car wash, that was kind of scary, but I did it and got a treat. Oh I do love my car rides! I do like to talk and get very attached to my family. Just look into my eyes and you can see how loving and loyal I am. FYI-no cats for me please and only children 8 and older - Only because of my size and I do take treats very gently but I am not cat safe.I am crate trained, house trained, and love belly rubs. I do need a home where there would be little time alone and we can venture out and explore the world. I am insecure and so much in the world is new to me. I like to go to shopping at Lowes, Tractor Supply and any other dog friendly establishment. I am always ready for where ever we will go next and I would love to meet you!Hey, how do you like my beautiful brown eyes? My foster mom says I look like I am part owl. One thing for sure, I love, love, love to be with my people. Dedicated and loyal, that is me!! So, if you are searching for that perfect partner in crime to ride along with you, then we could be the perfect couple. Let's meet up.
