Story

Maryann showed up at a good Samaritan's house. The good Samaritan brought them to our facility, and we took them in. Well, how could we resist. They were so frightened and scared but are doing much better now. They are up to date on shots, spayed, microchipped and ready to be adopted. Who could resist those faces. They are adorable and they need a good loving home full of happiness, playfulness and lots of love. We don't know if they are siblings or not but that they came in together. The foster that has them now says they are coming out of their shell and are very playful and full of life. They love chasing each other and playing tag. They are very curious and so affectionate. They will be great for any family to have one of them for a family member. She is in TN but the cost of transport to your area is included in her fee. We use the most animal friendly transport on the road, Rescue Riders Pet Transport.

From the moment he arrived, his gentle nature and happy spirit have made him a shelter favorite. He has a great amount of energy and loves to start his day with a few joyful zoomies, but once he gets that out of his system, he settles into a calm, affectionate companion. Lizard already knows how to sit, is eager to learn more, and loves working with people. He’s wonderful with other dogs and would thrive in a home with playmates or a family looking for a friendly, easygoing addition. His sweet personality, good manners, and fun-loving attitude make him an amazing family dog in the making. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful, and gentle new best friend, —he just might be the perfect match for you. Lizard's $300 adoption fee includes spay/neuter, up to date vaccines, microchip AND transport fee to a location near you. We currently have transportation to CT, MD, NJ, NY, PA, VA, GA, and TN. Story

I adopted Rain from a shelter about two years ago when she wasn’t quite 1 year old. Since then, Rain has been a joy. She is full of life and energy and needs and enjoys daily walks/exercise time. I still have some issues walking her at times when she gets really excited. She loves going to the park and running free. Rain is highly intelligent and listens and obeys commands such as sit, stay and come. Rain is housebroken and responds to the word “potty” when she needs to go to the bathroom. (Or she will let you know she has to go). She has a crate that I’ve barely had to use because she is very well behaved and can be left for hours without messing the house up. She is very affectionate, loving and loyal. She loves to play with her toys and she enjoys treats. She will bring you her toy to try to take from her and she loves to play fetch. All in all Rain is a joy and sadly I can no longer keep her and I pray she finds a home filled with love and joy because that’s what she gives.

Found as a stray in Long Beach Mississippi he was brought to the Humane Society of South Mississippi. He’s smart, alert, and loves having a job to do — whether that’s exploring the outdoors, playing with purpose, or learning something new. He did seem a little reserved and shy at first, but with a little time and meeting new people he has become more comfortable with his surroundings and has opened up a bit. Hayden thrives on activity and engagement, making him a great match for an adopter who enjoys adventure and understands working-breed energy. He bonds closely with his people and brings both enthusiasm and devotion to the relationship. He does fine around other dogs. He is a little unsure at first but once he has a few minutes to warm up he starts to run around and play with the other dog. If you’re looking for a bright, athletic companion with personality and drive, Hayden is ready to put his heart to work for his forever family. Hayden is up to date on vaccines and prevention.
