Story
Our amazing foster has raised these nuggets by hand from 5 days old-bottles, changing, bathing, clipping, snuggling, playing-all of it. There are six siblings, and they’re all pretty different in temperament. They came into the shelter without their Mama, and they’re Bitsa pups-bitsa this and that. First up is Anne, we call her Annie. Named for a frontier scout during the Revolutionary War. Our little Annie is a brave, independent girl. She will grow into a faithful companion, but she will test your boundaries through adolescence. She plays hard and loves hard. Annie will be best suited where she can grow into a leadership role. Annie is 7 weeks old. She will be spayed at 8-9 weeks, vaccinated and dewormed to age, and available for adoption thereafter.

Story
Grimmy was born July 1st to a pitbull terrier mom and a catahoula leopard father. We are fostering her for her original family because the mother tried to wean them all at 4 or 5 weeks old, she was not a very good mother. Grimmy is very sweet and energetic, but is naturally very bitey and has a dominant spirit, and was immediately prone to being food aggressive. I believe she will need an experienced owner that can train her away from her inherant bad habits. She is very intelligent and VERY food motivated, so she is easy to train and still young enough to listen. She's been raised with dog-friendly cats and 2 other dogs. She's had some issues crate training so we've been trying to take it slow so that she doesn't get separation anxiety, but she isn't naturally drawn to the crate like our other dogs. She is very good on the leash for the most part, and is making good progress with potty training. Comes with leash, harness, food, and slow feeder bowl. Crate is an extra 20$ if needed.

Story
Wrangler is being fostered in PA.Wrangler has some limited vision.Wrangler here with an update on me, foster Mommy said I had to do it since they did some new tests on me. First, I am a big boy at almost 1.5 years old now! Anyway, I have Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBD) which they are treating with low fat food and watching my diet. Also, my B12 is low so foster Mommy gives me a shot every 3 weeks. I do great with the shot, she gives it while I am eating and I could care less cause I just want my food lolAlso, something that goes with the IBD thingy is anxiety and I try, but am scared of new things. I like to go slow meeting new ones. I can’t tell my foster Mommy why, but I’m scared of men. We are working on all this. I am great at home and I don’t do anything in the house when foster Mommy leaves because I have other doggies I am with. So as long as I am not alone, I am ok. We are trying Prozac to see if this will help relax me enough to get over my fears because I am a sweetie, really! And, I just love cuddling on the couch with foster Mommy and sleeping in bed with her. Even though I can stretch out and take up leg room at times hee heeBDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Volt is being fostered in NC. Volt has some vision. update Volt is doing well! He lives for cuddles at night before going to bed in his crate. During the day he has one speed and that is lightning fast. His favorite treat is carrots and he will do anything for them but lay down, lol. He has a pretty good recall and knows sit. He is fully potty trained and goes to the back door when he needs to go out. He plays so gently with his foster mom's mini aussies and rough and tumble with Elektra (corso) and Trigger (lab). Volt had some grand mal seizures that were caused by Simparica Trio. These lasted about 3 weeks with lingering focal seizures. He is still on keppra and he's doing great! He has not had any seizures in the last 3 months. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately

Story
Hiya! I’m Russ! I’m about 3-4 months old. My foster family calls me Russet (like a potato 🥔) or Russell (Stover like chocolate 🍫) I answer to them all! But My favorite thing to be called is Good Boy! I have met my foster families dogs who are teeny tiny like half my size!! And then there’s two bigger dogs who have helped me learn how to be the best puppy! I love to use a dog door if available. I also really enjoy cuddling on the couch under the blankets with you! My favorite activity is to be close to you or playing with other dogs! My foster mom says that I would do great in a home with other dogs! I do have some manners to work on. I use my mouth to play but I am really good at the word “Easy” and that softens my mouth!! I am very attention motivated and catch on quick! I know sit, wait (for my food) and easy(for giving treats or playing too rough) I can’t wait to explore the great outdoors! Maybe I could be your new hiking buddy?? I'm believed to be a lab/catahoula/ plott mix I will be neutered, microchipped, utd on vaccines, deworming, flea tick and hw prevention by the time I leave the rescue and go home 💝 I am being fostered by some cool people in : Sevierville Tennessee 📍
