Ryder is a friendly, 1.5-year-old Catahoula mix weighing 27 pounds. Ryder is a handsome boy with unique merle markings, loving eyes, and a passion for playing with and chasing balls. He earned his name (originally "Easy Rider") after hopping right into the car when he was found on a deserted road, proving himself to be an excellent traveler. Early in life, Ryder sustained a leg trauma, but underwent surgery to repair it and was neutered upon arriving at Home At Last Haven. (His veterinarian was very pleased with his successful recovery.) Ryder loves racing around his big yard with his ball and is eager to start a full life with a new family. Ryder will be available to meet at Burleson PetSmart on September 12th from 11 - 3 AFTER submitting an adoption application. Duke is a loyal love bug who happens to be a well-fed Catahoula with lovely markings and warm brown eyes. He needs a tall fence as he will jump a short one to fulfill his desire to be with you. He is best as an only dog. Any considerations for Duke’s adoption are due to his big heart and great love for his people. Duke is as sweet as can be, he rides very well in a car, enjoys belly rubs, and is a mellow man who just wants to be with you. He is a “leaner” content to be leaning against you. (At his temporary home, each time the man reached his hand down, he said Duke’s head was right there.) He loves and bonds quickly to his family but does NOT welcome outsiders. Duke will reward his owner with lots of love and companionship as he gazes lovingly at them. Duke is available to meet at the HALAH grounds in Godley.
