Ryder is a friendly one-year-old Catahoula mix weighing 27 pounds. Ryder is a handsome boy with unique merle markings and loving eyes. He loves chasing his ball! He earned his name, originally "Easy Rider," after jumping right into the car when he was found and proving to be an excellent traveler. Ryder underwent surgery to repair a leg trauma sustained early in life and was neutered upon arriving at HALAH. This procedure was necessary to address previous damage and prevent future pain. His veterinarian is very pleased with his recovery and successful outcome. Ryder loves racing round his big yard with his ball and is looking forward to starting a full life with a new family. Ryder is available to meet after an adoption application has been submitted. Duke is a loyal love bug who happens to be a well-fed Catahoula with lovely markings and warm brown eyes. He needs a tall fence as he will jump a short one to fulfill his desire to be with you. He is best as an only dog. Any considerations for Duke’s adoption are due to his big heart and great love for his people. Duke is as sweet as can be, he rides very well in a car, enjoys belly rubs, and is a mellow man who just wants to be with you. He is a “leaner” content to be leaning against you. (At his temporary home, each time the man reached his hand down, he said Duke’s head was right there.) He loves and bonds quickly to his family but does NOT welcome outsiders. Duke will reward his owner with lots of love and companionship as he gazes lovingly at them. Duke is available to meet at the HALAH grounds in Godley.
