Hi there! My name is Jocko. I used to be a NAVY Seal.....ok not really but hey, I'm pretty cool like that!! Anyway, I was part of a 28 dog hoarding situation, where the wonderful people at Lucies came and took us all in. I was adopted by a family that I thought were really nice, but then it turned out that they didn't really want to have me as their dog. They didn't want to take the time to provide proper training, so I was returned to Lucies. We aren't born perfect - we need guidance from our owners and love and attention! I am leash and crate trained, so that's a plus! I'm looking for a family who will keep me and take care of me for all of years. I'm tired of being disappointed... Inquire about me! I would inquire about you, but you know without opposable thumbs, it's kinda hard for me type ;) *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home. Hi guys, My name is Tristan. Such a regal sounding name huh? I was presumed dumped with another little doggie friend. He and I were trying to make ourselves at home with some people in a rural area. Needless to say, we were beyond unwanted. We thought we were pretty nice and kind, but the family did NOT. My little friend came into Lucies with a bruised bladder and a dislocated leg. What a horrible excuse for a human. You know those people at that home did that. They'll get their just desserts one day... I was horrified when I came in and would cower around everyone. My only fear is being left alone. I'm slowly overcoming that and becoming a confident boy! Yay me! I'm K9 friendly, so other dogs are ok to be around. I'm ready for my new family and home. Hi there! I'm Tommilyn. Cool name huh? I was named after the nice LEO that rescued me. You see, I was found wandering the streets looking for food and shelter. Some big meany decided I was of no use any longer. I was just about bred to death. When the LEO fund me, I was an emaciated mess of a dog. That nice person contacted Lucies and they took care of me quick! Straight to the vet to be checked out. Unfortunately, due to the emaciated condition I was in, I had to put on some weight before I could even be spayed. Well those peeps there gave me some good vittles and a month later I had put some weight on....YAY!!! I'm healthy now and full of energy. I'm a bit shy, but have made a few friends here. Now I'm ready to my furever home. A home full of love and cuddles and milk bones. I sure home that home is yours!! *** We strive to ensure our dogs are going to a safe, loving and caring home. He’s about 9 months old, 62 pounds and maybe a catahoula mix. He’s heartworm negative, neutered, has his shots and just needs his forever home. He is located in Sealy, TX, but we can do FaceTime video calls. $50 adoption fee to help cover the costs of his vaccines.
