Story
Dale is a Turkish Boz Shepherd (very similar to Akbash and Central Asian Shepherd). He is very playful and a bit of a gentle giant. He does have protective instincts as a livestock guardian dog, but most of the time he just wants to be outside watching. He is not an active guardian dog. He gets along with other dogs and is very gentle with small kids. He just forgets his size sometimes. He is often very happy just being by himself, but will come up to you if he needs something, like going outside or just some pets. He loves to play fetch and run. He needs outdoor space, the larger the better.

These pups are in League City, Texas too!

Story
Hey there, I'm Orion! I'm a puppy with a zest for life. I'm playful, energetic, and a bit of a goofball. But don't let that fool you - I'm also incredibly smart and brave. I even battled Parvo and came out a victor! My journey to the shelter and into a foster home was quite an adventure. I was living a normal puppy life when I was suddenly imbued with superpowers. I could hear whispers from miles away, run faster than a speeding car, and leap over tall fences in a single bound! But, like all superheroes, I had to face my nemesis - Parvo. It was a tough battle, but with my indomitable spirit, I triumphed. After my victory, I found myself here, waiting for my next adventure. If you're looking for a companion who's full of energy, has a knack for fun, and a heart full of bravery, then I'm your guy! Let's start our adventure together! If you are interested in him, please send an email to SCP! Applications can be found on our website at secondchancepets.org under the "Forms" tab. Please complete and return to us for review! Adopter for this dog must reside in the immediate Houston/Galveston area and be at least 25 years old. A home visit may be required prior to this dog going to any home. The adoption fee for a dog is $190 (or $245 for puppies). All dogs are microchipped, on heartworm protection, spayed/neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed and treated for fleas. Adoptions are held on Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Clear Lake Petco, 2410 Bay Area Boulevard. Since all our dogs are in foster homes, an individual dog may not be at our weekly Adoption Event due to conflict with a foster's schedule. If you are interested in meeting a particular dog, please send an email to scpdogworld@gmail.com so that the Dog Coordinator can let you know if the dog will be at the Saturday Adoption Event at Petco. If you just want to meet some great dogs looking for their forever home, please come visit with us on Saturday!May 26, 2025, 5:04 am

Story
We are having to make the hardest decision.. with doing everything we can do its now come to this after a long while of deciding if we should rehome her. We got the final "we can't anymore" from the universe and now Im here. Do to personal issues we have to now rehome Mazikeen. Mazikeen is a 4 years old female(november 20th) 60lbs (runt) German shepherd great pyrenees mix. Shes small(ish) and got floof. She is currently shaved down because her fur is thick and I didnt cut her hair on time and she got all scabbed up from itching. So bye bye fur and she likes the cool breeze. She got a little separation anxiety but will be fine after a while into her new home. She will come with her shear kit, blankets, shot records, harness collars, brushes, and lots of puppy loves. Im not really asking anything for her I just want to make sure she goes to a loving home.
