Story
From the Foster Home: A confident girl with a long, beautiful coat, a typical shepherd personality with lots of love to give. Emmie is around 7 years young - she is very young at heart. She`s affectionate, loyal, and self-assured, always interested and observing the world around her. She is thrilled about everything and is ALWAYS ready to go, don`t let her age fool ya. She is very strong and generally walks well on leash but she needs some work on containing her enthusiasm, which can also come out when she sees other dogs. She has the eagerness of a younger dog but because she is a bit older, so she needs an adopter who will care for all of her needs, including future ones. Emmie has lived with other dogs before and is living with two large males in her foster home. She is confident and playful, which not all dogs love, so she`ll need slow, thoughtful introductions to any new canine companions. Never has she growled or shown any aggression but she definitely lets other dogs know she is the queen. She has not been around cats. Emmie is so gentle when it comes to food. Some of it is because her teeth were not cared for, so she is slow and steady when it comes to eating. She is housebroken. does fantastic in her crate and does not have any separation anxiety but she will need her daily exercise. If you`re looking for a mature, loving companion who will go on any adventure and also chill out with you on the couch, she may be your perfect match. She`s ready to spend her golden years living life to the fullest and in a home where she can feel safe and appreciated for the wonderful dog she is.The dog adoption fee is $90. They come spayed/neutered, microchipped, first set of vaccines including DAPP (parvo combo), Bordatella (kennel cough), have been dewormed with Pyrantel, and have been treated with selamectin for fleas. Our website updates every hour, but some animals may be adopted faster than we can get them updated online. If you`d like to check on the status of an animal, please call us at 360-352-2510. Story
This 2-year-old, 70-lb shepherd mix is exactly as her name suggests: a little transparent at first, but once you spot her, you’re absolutely enchanted. Ghost Shrimp starts off shy (she’s been through a lot of changes), but give her a minute and she materializes into a total sweetheart. She knows how to sit, walks nicely on leash, and will happily roll right over for belly rubs like it’s her full-time job. Slow, steady, and kind is the key to her heart—and she’s so worth it.Once she warms up, Ghost Shrimp is all gentle vibes and soft eyes. She loves treats and takes them politely, appreciates a calm approach, and will reward you with trust, wiggles, and maximum belly-up energy. She’s quirky, tender, and quietly magical—just like the name implies. If you’re looking for a sweet soul who blossoms with patience and love, Ghost Shrimp might just float right into your life and stay forever. The dog adoption fee is $90. Story
If you’ve ever watched It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia and thought, “You know what this situation needs? A massive, lovable dog,” then congratulations—you’ve found Pepe Silvia. Much like his namesake, Pepe is a presence. Big? Yes. Mysterious? Only in the sense that you’ll never fully understand how one dog can be this handsome and this doofy at the same time. At just 1 year old and 87 lbs of premium fluff, he’s basically a walking hug who believes personal space is a myth invented by the mailroom.Pepe Silvia is an absolute love and a half—deeply into snacks, very into you, and fully committed to his toy collection like it’s an evidence board covered in red string. He’s goofy, affectionate, and has that gentle giant energy where the size just means more dog to cuddle, ya dig? If you’re ready for a big, sweet, snack-motivated best friend who will gladly crash your couch and your heart, Pepe Silvia is here—and yes, he definitely exists. The dog adoption fee is $90.
