Story
Arriving in WI on January 9th!
Tomas is a handsome 2 year old male mixed breed. Our best guess is husky mixed with shepherd. He weighs about 56 pounds and is fully grown, but could stand to gain a few pounds. He has a beautiful fluffy black and tan coat and sweet, soulful eyes.
We don't know why Tomas ended up alone, whether he was abandoned or somehow lost his family, but we do know it was no fault of his own! Tomas is a sweet, gentle boy who whimpers and cries, he is scared at the shelter and just wishes he had his family back. He is looking forward to finding a real forever family that he can relax with.
He is potty trained, but his forever family should be prepared to do more training while he learns the routine in his new home.
He is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and microchipped, and he comes with his medical records and interstate health certificate from a veterinary examination prior to leaving Texas, which certifies him to be in good condition.
He will be arriving in Muskego, WI on Friday, January 9th, and will be available to meet, and take home if he is a good fit, by the first family to have placed an exclusive hold deposit as set out below.
His adoption fee is $500, which will be used to support the many animals in our care whose medical bills far surpass their much lower adoption fee. We use those funds to support our program of readying additional dogs, puppies and kittens which we transport and adopt out in the northern United States. Our goal is to get as many homeless animals out of south eastern Texas, where we have a severe pet overpopulation crisis.
He is available for an exclusive hold with a deposit of $250, which we give on a first come, first served, basis. The balance of the adoption fee is due upon meeting/finalizing the adoption on Friday January 9th. If upon meeting, he is not a good fit for your family, the deposit is refundable. We ask that you are serious about your intent to adopt before placing a deposit, so as not to prevent him from finding his forever family in the meantime, as we only accept one deposit per dog.
If placing a deposit is not the right fit for your family, we invite you to our adoption event at our office in Muskego on Sunday January 11th, where you can meet all of our available pups, no deposit necessary.
