Story
Keiko is an 11-year-old "puppy" who enjoys sunbathing as much as she still enjoys playing rough with her humans. I've had her for 4 years through many moves, which are starting to take a toll on her. She can be defensive and mistrusting of new people, but settles down after a week of being treated like a princess. She does not do well with other animals in the home, and can be defensive if mad-dogged on the street. I'm looking for her "sundown owner": a stay-at-home or retired adopter who can give her the attention and stability she needs at this stage of life. She is in good health considering her age and has had regular vet care. She enjoys a regular schedule of walks and meal-times, cannot get enough sunbathing, and loves gentle, consistent loving attention. Her first few owners did not care for her well; she has an embedded collar scar and had spinal surgery about 5-6 years ago. Long Beach locals preferred.

Sicily is a beautiful maltipoo mix with yorkie, she will turn in January 2026, she is full of energy, gets excited to play with you, she is also calm when the time is right for her to be. Sicily is trained to sit, she is alert to her name “Sicily.” Sicily is also trained to announce when she needs to go outside to pee and poo. Unfortunately, my oldest son is suffering from severe allergies since we got her a few months ago. The allergies are getting worse and there is no way we can keep beautiful Sicily.

Story
MEET ARTHUR! My 13 yr old daughter rescued this dog from our neighborhood. He comes with a long story with lots of missing puzzle pieces. We believe he was surrendered to LA County Animal Care and Control but they were of no help. I have reached out to at least 15 rescue organizations at this point with no responses. We are in need of an IMMEDIATE foster/rehome. We already have 3 dogs, a rabbit, and a snake and unfortunately can't devote the resources to training "Arthur." This guy is adorable but does not do well with other dogs- territorial and possessive, can be aggressive with toys. He needs love and attention and the right training which we just cannot provide. He will be given updated vaccines by The Canine Condition Foundation free of charge upon going to his new home. We think he may be around 5 years old. He is neutered and in good health. No rehoming fee. We will be forced to surrender him to the shelter on Monday if no one can take him from us. Help please!
