Story
We adopted Kirby as a puppy when someone was home all day. Now that person intends to return to work and Kirby cannot be left home alone for so many hours a day because she would bark and be unhappy. Kirby has an adorable appearance, but she is not an easy dog to care for. Do not adopt her just because she's cute! She still does not understand that she should pee and poo outdoors ONLY. She will go potty outdoors during a walk, but then continue to do more indoors. She can go all night in her crate without an accident, but when she is awake she goes repeatedly during the day. She loves human interaction and loves to play with people. The time she spends entertaining herself is minimal. For that reason she might do well with a companion dog so she can play with another dog and give her humans a break. She was adopted by an experienced dog owner but was returned after two weeks. Only a very experienced, patient person with lots of time and love to give should adopt Kirby.
