Story
Stella is an absolutely wonderful love bug, approximately 2 year old english terrier mix. She is a lap dog for sure and wants to be right up on you. She is housetrained and walks on a leash well, she now barks at the door when she needs to go outside. She is super loving and friendly, loves people, kids and other dogs. She has not been introduced to cats. I have been fostering her for 4 months. She was adopted from a shelter in manchester connecticut that receives dogs from all over the country in kill shelters. Stella was there for months, originally coming up from south carolina, unknown history. She initially had some kennel cough and skin rash which both fully resolved with treatment quickly. I kept her for a bit longer than intended because she seemed unfamiliar with house living and didn't understand stairs. Now she flys up and down stairs and is fully comfortable in home life. She would love an energetic owner or family but she's very calm and happy to lay around.

Story
Henry is a very sweet affectionate but anxious and unpredictable dog. He has gone through both in home training lessons and a 6 week intensive boarding training, however he is still anxious and skiddish. He needs to be in a home with no other dogs and no children. He would do best in a home with a yard. His behavior has regressed since moving into an apartment with a new baby. A new owner would have to retrain him for both house breaking and obedience but the bones of the training are still there he just needs a refresher in a more clam environment. We feel Henry is worthy of a home with a new owner who would be able to devote the time and patience for a dog who is a little bit of a project.

Story
I am completely broken-hearted. Delilah is the dog I always wanted. She is loving, sweet, VERY food motivated (my fault), I love her do very much. She is crate-trained and I would never ever give her up, Except under extreme circumstances. I want very much to keep her. The alternative is to find a LOT of money to send her to training camp with Jade. Delilah is 3 years old, Jade is 8. We also have Logan, 5 and Piper 3. Unfortunately we are over populated here and Jade and Delilah have become arch enemies. She is so nervous every time she is around Jade. I think she needs a very much quieter home. We have a huge dog run, but also 3 indoor cats. I want to find the money to retrain the fear out of her, but I can't. I am however making an appointment to take Delilah and Jade to an expert for an assessment. If you are a kind, loving, experienced pet owner, and you want the most loving and wiggle-butting dog on the planet, then Delilah is your girl. Background check required.

Story
Maia is a beautiful, affectionate 5-year-old mixed breed (likely Collie/Australian Shepherd mix) we have loved since adopting her as a puppy. She is loyal, intelligent, and deeply bonded to her people, and thrives with attention, routine, and companionship. As our family has grown and our home has become busy with young children and frequent visitors, we’ve realized this environment is not the right fit for Maia. She becomes very excitable around guests and struggles to settle, and she is not comfortable in a high-energy, child-focused household. We believe Maia would be happiest in a calm, adult-only home with experienced dog owners who can give her consistent structure and time. She is healthy, well cared for, and this difficult decision has been made entirely with her wellbeing in mind. We are committed to finding her a loving, lasting home and supporting a smooth transition.
