Story
I’m looking for a forever home for my mom’s dogs. My mom is now in assisted living and can no longer take care of them. They are a bonded pair. Both dogs are fixed and are up to date with their vaccinations. Teddy (Cavachon) 8/16/2022 female Teddy is house trained, lease trained and crate trained. In general easy to train. Highly food motivated and eager to please. She absolutely believes that she is a tiny lap dog no matter what her 24 lbs tries to tell you. Teddy is Sassy’s emotional support dog. Lol I think it’s normal for dogs to experience behaviors when they are moved to a new home. Time and patiences is needed to make her feel secure again so please be patient with her . ❤️

Name: Harp         Best Guess for Breed:   Cavalier King Charles spaniel mix Best Guess for Age:  7.5 years as of June 2026          SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight:   15 lbs   Gets Along With: Other dogs! We haven't seen her with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at:   South Carolina shelter - needs a foster or forever home in the DC area to get up here.   Harp is Looking For:    Through no fault of her own, this sweetie landed in the shelter. She's eager to have her own humans for sniffy walks and world exploration, and best of all - snuggles! Quality kibble and a cushy dog bed are on her wish list as well. Most of all, though, she wants to know where she belongs, to be safe and loved. In exchange - well, look at her! Her eyes! You get so many adoring gazes, so much love and loyalty. What do you say?
