Jax is house-trained, knows basic commands, and is brilliantly food motivated—eager to learn new tricks for treats! He's a well-behaved companion who thrives on routine. However, Jax struggles with high anxiety in loud, unfamiliar environments and around people he doesn’t know. He becomes overwhelmed easily and, when overstressed, may snap if touched unexpectedly. For this reason, his ideal home is a calm, quiet, adult-only household with no young children. He needs a patient family who will read his body language and give him space when he needs it. Jax could peacefully coexist with a gentle, calm dog his size or smaller. In the right low-stress environment, this intelligent, food-loving senior boy will be your most loyal and loving friend, ready to spend his golden years showering you with affection.
