Story
I got this puppy for my elderly mom and was house training her before giving it to my mom. However, my mom fell severely ill during that time and was unable to take her; I am unable to keep her. She is not spayed and has most of her shots, but needs one more set. Blossom was born in June 2025. She extremely sweet and loving. She wants to be on you or carried by you all the times. She is a sweetheart! Blossom is fairly low energy-she chooses cuddles over play. She gets along well with other dogs and cats, however, she has shown some resource guarding behaviors with other dogs. She cannot be kenneled - if you keep her away from you she gets extremely anxious and barks incessantly. She wants to be with and on you at all times. Blossom would do best in a quieter household. She would do fine with another low energy dog or even with cats, or by herself. She wants to be the center of your world and will give you unconditional love, hugs, and kisses!

Please contact Constance (connibouchard@gmail.com) for more information about this pet.Important InformationPlease read!If you are interested in me after reading about me, please visit my site, http://www.breederadoptions.org and follow the instructions. The majority of the dogs we rescue, mostly breeder dogs, have lived their entire lives in less-than-ideal conditions so will need to be socialized, house and leash trained. Most have never lived in a house, walked on a leash, had a treat or sat in a lap. For many of them, their feet have never touched the ground after living for years on wire until they arrive at our main facility where they are evaluated, groomed and given vet care. Most of these dogs are not socialized and need to be cornered to be picked up, so are not suitable for people with physical disabilities or suffer from PTSD. They need folks who will make them the center of their world and help them learn to trust before even attempting to train. Please do not apply if you do not meet the requirements of the dogs we rescue. However, they will learn with time, love, patience and most of all, commitment. You must have an ample supply of all of these to reap the rewards of watching these very special dogs become your wonderful companion. We state any known health issues, all are altered unless there is a medical reason not to, which we will advise, any known medical issues addressed, are microchipped, are UTD on all vaccines and have been checked out by at least one veterinarian, usually two. We do not guarantee the health of any of our rescued dogs. The dogs we rescue have lived with other dogs all of their lives and most get along with other dogs. We state if they are dog aggressive. We require a permanent, full-time parent. That means you must be able to spend the majority of your time with your new companion to socialize and train. We do not, under any circumstances, place them in homes with young children as they have not been exposed to children, and we do not know how they will react. Please do not waste your time or ours if you are not prepared to adopt within 2 weeks and you are not willing to pick the dog up at its location.Hi! My name is Teddy, and I am a beautiful King Charles Cavalier who was born 1/12/23, and I weigh 10 pounds. I am a little timid, so I need an all-adult home and a sibling my size to learn from and play with.If you have been waiting for a beautiful Cav, please ask for me on your application to http://www.breederadoptions.org.Love, Teddy 021926-02February 23, 2026, 12:07 pm

** If you are interested in adopting Oliver, please fill out our adoption application at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ ** ***Please note that Oliver's potty training status is currently UNKNOWN. Petfinder does not have an "unknown" option. Once Oliver arrives to Colorado and settles in a foster home, we will know wether he is potty trained or not.*** Oliver is an adorable, 2 year old, 12 pound Spaniel / Chihuahua mix with a friendly, and super sweet personality. This little guy was found as a stray in Houston TX and brought to a shelter where no dog should ever be. When we got a plea to rescue him before his time was up in the shelter, we couldn’t agree to get him to Colorado fast enough! Oliver has shown himself to be a very friendly guy. He is great with other dogs and loves people. Oliver is up to date on his vaccinations, has been fully vetted, is healthy, heartworm negative, and is neutered. Farfel's Rescue and our Texas rescue partners would love to see Oliver in a home with an individual, family (older kids are preferred so there's no tail-pulling or awkward handling) or active retirees who have the time and love for a very loyal and sweet dog. We'd hate to see him left alone all day while his family works full-time outside of the home, as he is much too social for that type of arrangement. We'd like to place Oliver in a home where he'll get consistent stimulation, exercise and love. A (virtual or in-person) positive reinforcement group training class promotes great behavior, bonding and confidence. Training is so important in the future behaviors of every dog. It's for this reason that we're unwilling to adopt to a family that doesn't make this loving choice. Farfel's is happy to provide a list of both in-person and virtual positive reinforcement / force- free trainers in your area. Farfel's Rescue is a fully foster based rescue, and offers a one week trial with every adoption. We feel that this is much more beneficial to not only the dog, but the adopter too. We believe that only getting 20-30 minutes with a dog before deciding on a lifetime commitment is not a fair amount of time to the adopter, or the dog. Therefore we give adopters one week with the dog to assure it is the right fit, and offer a full refund of their adoption fee should it not workout within the week trial. Farfel's Rescue has been doing adoptions this way since 2005 and is thrilled to adopt out ~400 dogs each year. Applications are currently being accepted for our wonderful pup. If interested in this gorgeous, very cuddly/sweet and loving best friend, please fill out an application completely at http://farfels.com/farfels-rescue/adoption-form/ and submit. **PLEASE NOTE** If you're truly interested in adopting from us, please be sure to fill out our Farfel's Rescue adoption application found at the link above or at farfels.com. Adoption site applications such as Petfinder and Adoptapet don't provide enough information and therefore aren't useful. Our Farfel's application is the only initial tool that we have to determine a great match for this very deserving dog. We're sorry, but in many cases, we're unable to get back to those that don't submit our Farfel's Rescue adoption application. Thanks very much for choosing rescue.

Story
Lily is an 8-year-old King Charles Cavalier weighing about 21 pounds, and she is as sweet and gentle as they come. Lily is friendly, affectionate, and loves the simple pleasures in life. Her favorite activities include napping, relaxing, and cuddling up next to her people. She walks beautifully on leash and enjoys calm strolls, making her a lovely companion for an easygoing household. She gets along well with other dogs and would be happy to share her home with a canine friend. A meet-and-greet is required to ensure it’s a good fit for everyone involved. Lily does have a heart condition and will require a committed adopter who can provide long-term care, ongoing management, and daily medication to support her health and comfort. With proper care, Lily can continue to enjoy a cozy, loving life. If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate companion who will happily curl up by your side, Lily may be the perfect addition to your home. ------ Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly. Being a part of their rehabilitation is a truly rewarding experience. To learn more about mill dogs and start the adoption process, visit our website!

Story
Rollo is a 9-year-old, 15lb Poodle/Cavalier mix with a gentle heart and sweet personality. This little guy does well with people and enjoys being around his humans, making him a lovely companion for someone looking for a more easygoing best friend. Rollo seems to prefer smaller dog friends over big dogs and would likely feel most comfortable with a canine companion closer to his size — or he’d be perfectly happy soaking up attention as your one-and-only. He walks nicely on leash and enjoys getting out for strolls, though he may need a little confidence-building when it comes to navigating thresholds like doorways and new spaces. With some patience, encouragement, and positive reinforcement, he’ll continue to blossom. Rollo is at that wonderful stage of life where he’s past the puppy chaos but still has plenty of love and companionship to give. If you’re looking for a sweet, manageable-sized buddy to share your days with, Rollo may be the perfect match. ------ Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Story
Scout is a dog that loves attention. He would do very well as an only dog as he does not play that much with my other dog and is what you would call a Velcro dog. He will follow you wherever you go and misses you when you are not around. He would be great for a person that lives alone or a family that would pay attention to him and play with him. He is almost 3 years old and is up to date on his vaccinations. He is house trained and will go into a kennel and stay there for a while. He will go for walks but is anxious in a car. He also gets along with dogs but I do not know about cats. Does not have any allergies and eats well. Scout needs a lot of attention and would be great for someone who has the time to be his best friend as he will most certainly be your best friend.
