Story

We are looking for a very special home for a very special dog. Meet Panchito. Panchito was about to be euthanized because he was an adult, blind dog and a dirty mess. His owner was evicted or moved out and Panchito and several of their other dogs were dumped out on the streets where they were saved by a good samaritan, but Panchito didn’t stand a chance at the high kill shelter. Our rescue tagged him the morning he was to be euthanized. He is super sweet and adorable. We had to remove both his eyes, but if you didn't know it, you would never guess it. He gets around all over the place and climbs up and down onto cot beds and finds empty crates where the doors are open. He goes in and curls up and goes to sleep. He follows me all around the yard and comes whenever I call him. He gets along well with other dogs and he is house trained. Please do not be discouraged because he is blind. He is a great little dog looking for a great home to live out his forever life. He is approximately seven or eight years old and weighs approximately 13 pounds. He is completely vetted. We had to treat him for bad skin infections and flea allergies. We also did a complete dental and removed all but four of his front teeth. Both eyes are removed and his hair is starting to grow back. please consider Panchito and please share, we’re guessing he might possibly be part long-haired Doxy, although his paperwork says Spaniel King Charles Cavalier. This debonaire and wickedly handsome boy is called Kloki. He is said to be a King Charles Pekingese mix and at 4 years and 18 pounds, this boy is ready for a new home where he can King of his kingdom and can get all the love and affection. He has had some upheaval in his life recently and his forever first owner is living with people who have other pets which Kloki is not a fan of. His loving owner cannot live on his own right now so he is sacrificing this loving dog to go to a home where he will be the only pet and the only creature that is the center of the person’s world. He is housebroken, crate trained and he is not the happiest boy since the move. He would sit on your lap all day long if you let him.
