Ollie will be a smaller dog once fully grown, weighing less than 20 lbs, making him a perfect fit for any living arrangement. Ollie is truly stunning with a unique, "cuddle" soft merle coat featuring a beautiful mix of gold, cinnamon, slate gray, and high-gloss black. Beyond his gorgeous looks, he embodies the best traits of the Australian Shepherd breed: he is loyal, highly intelligent, and agile. He has a glowing temperament and a fun-loving personality that would make him an ideal companion for an active individual, couple, or a family with children. Ollie thrives on attention and gets along well with other dogs and even cats. He is eager to learn and easy to teach, making him a true "open book" for an owner willing to invest time in training. Whether he is joining you for an early morning walk or snuggling at your feet at the end of the day, Ollie’s world centers around his people. If you are looking for an enthusiastic, intelligent, and beyond adorable addition to your family, Ollie is the "total puppy" for you. Ollie is currently with his foster family in Kentucky and will arrive in the New England area via pet transport once he is adopted. He is current on all vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on Frontline Plus for flea and tick prevention and Heartguard for heart worm prevention. His adoption fee is $875. He and his brother Tweedle Dee are estimated to be 1-2 years old and weigh close to 30 lbs. These handsome fellows were left abandoned at a church. They are now living in a foster home in the South with other pups and their foster mom. Foster mom says, "Both boys love playing and love greeting people. Tweedle Dum always has to greet you with a toy or bone in his mouth. Tweedle Dum is the more outgoing and playful while Tweedle Dee enjoys being loved on but seems to be a little more timid and calm. They both love playing in water and enjoy exploring." Both boys are described as very sweet. The Tweedles are doing well with crate and house training and working on leash training, which is new for them.
