Story
Sheila a breathtakingly beautiful 4-year-old purebred King Charles Spaniel currently looking for her forever home. Sheila was turned into the shelter by her owner when she failed to produce milk to feed her puppies. The breed said he no use for her. She can be somewhat timid until she feels comfortable with you. However, she is very social with other dogs and is good with cats. We are looking for a special home for her with someone who is willing to give her the time she needs to feel safe and loved. A home with another dog or two is a requirement for Sheila as she truly enjoys the company of other dogs, and this will help her adjust to her new role as a cherished family member. She has a soft, gentle personality and soulful eyes that reflect her sweet nature. Since coming into our care, she has discovered the joy of soft blankets and beds, and we believe that in time, she will become a professional lap dog. After spending time with her, we feel the best home for Sheila would be a quiet, laid-back household without a lot of coming and going. We believe this type of atmosphere will help her feel most comfortable and secure. We have promised Sheila that her life is changing for the better. If you or someone you know might be the right fit for this sweet girl, please let us know. She is currently with her foster family in Kentucky and will arrive in the New England area via pet transport once she is adopted. Her adoption fee is $875. She is spayed, current on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and up to date on heartworm, flea, and tick preventatives. Meet Tweedle Dum! He and his brother Tweedle Dee are estimated to be 1-2 years old and weigh close to 30 lbs. These handsome fellows were left abandoned at a church. They are now living in a foster home in the South with other pups and their foster mom. Foster mom says, "Both boys love playing and love greeting people. Tweedle Dum always has to greet you with a toy or bone in his mouth. Tweedle Dum is the more outgoing and playful while Tweedle Dee enjoys being loved on but seems to be a little more timid and calm. They both love playing in water and enjoy exploring." Both boys are described as very sweet. The Tweedles are doing well with crate and house training and working on leash training, which is new for them. Currently located in Jackson, (West TN).
