The name "Charles" means "free man", and after a very difficult and heartbreaking start in life, this 4ish year old pup is FREE from cruelty and neglect! Painfully thin and very matted, thankfully, Charles was rescued. With good food and lots of TLC, Charles is thriving in his foster home! Cavalier King Charles Spaniels are known for amazingly sweet, easy going temperaments and unwavering love for their family. Charles is a perfect example of those traits, and his new home will have Cavalier experience and the understanding of potential health concerns to be able to provide the best possible care throughout his life. If you think you are a great match, please let me know. Gentle children over 8 years old and locations within a 2 hour drive of Connecticut will be considered. I do not ship my rescue dogs.
