SPARKY-PENDING ADOPTION Sparky is an approximately 4-year-old male Cavalier King Charles Spaniel with a heart as big as his personality. This petite little guy weighs about 12 pounds and has been working hard in foster care to gain weight—he’d do great with another pound or two to round him out. True to his name, Sparky is a social butterfly! He loves meeting new people and fully expects pets and attention from every new friend he encounters. He thrives on love, affection, and companionship, making him a wonderful match for someone looking for a sweet, cuddly, devoted companion. Sparky does well with other dogs who are respectful and polite playmates, but he doesn’t require another dog in the home to be happy. He hasn’t been tested with cats, but based on his easygoing nature, he would likely do just fine. He walks nicely on leash, so a fenced yard is not a requirement—though he would certainly enjoy having a safe space to explore if one is available. Sparky is a retired breeder dog who is more than ready to leave that chapter behind and become a cherished family member. He is currently sleeping in a crate at night and does settle in, though he may voice a few mild complaints at bedtime. Given the choice, he would absolutely love a guardian who welcomes him into the bed for nighttime snuggles. He is working hard on potty training and is doing well overall. Since he was recently neutered, he may do best with a belly band for the first few days in his new home as he continues to adjust and reinforce good habits. He is fully vetted: Up to date on vaccines Neutered Microchipped Dental completed Negative fecal and heartworm tests On heartworm preventative Like many Cavaliers, Sparky has a grade 3 heart murmur. He is currently symptom-free and takes a daily medication to support his heart, which costs approximately $30 per month. CHLOE-PENDING ADOPTION This sweet Blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel was born May 16, 2021 and is a retired breeder who is just beginning to discover how wonderful life as a beloved companion can be.  Although she had very little socialization in her past, she has made remarkable progress in just two weeks in foster care! She came into rescue scared and very dirty, but is now blossoming beautifully as she learns to trust and enjoy gentle human affection. She weighs approximately 20 lbs and is: • Spayed  • Up to date on vaccinations  • Microchipped  • Negative for heartworm & fecal tests  • On heartworm preventative  • Currently being treated for ear infections •  AKC registered She is doing wonderfully with routine — sleeping through the night in her crate and catching on to potty training very quickly.  She absolutely adores other dogs, both big and small, and takes great comfort in their presence. She will require a friendly canine companion in her forever home and may happily follow them around like a little shadow.  Because she is still fearful in general, she will do best in a calm, patient home without young children. A secure fenced yard is required, as she is still unsure about leash walking. As is common in the breed, she has a low-grade heart murmur (grade 1–2). It is not causing any symptoms and does not require medication at this time. With continued love, patience, and consistency, this gentle girl has so much potential to become a devoted companion. She will be ready for her forever family very soon. Follow our fb page Team Rover for updates and videos. Meet. Lovie. Purebred Ruby cavalier who was born with one eye. Born 10/24/25 and currently only 3.4 lbs. She has been vet checked, vaccinated and fecal negative. We are waiting to put some age and weight on her first before her surgeries. She is in good hands here. She will not be ready for adoption until February or March.

Meet Maple Maple was a stray from our local shelter and is estimated between 2-3 years old! Although she is 9.5 pounds, she has a big fun personality! Maple loves playing with toys and running in the yard. She enjoys playing with other dogs but can easily occupy herself as well. When she’s not playing, she’s a complete lap dog. She loves being held like a baby or wrapping herself in a warm blanket.   Maple is a young and active dog and would love an active family to keep up with her energy. She would benefit from training classes. Like a typical small dog, Maple does bark at strangers so a household with few visitors might be best for her. She does well with dogs, children, and has not been cat tested. Maple is crate trained, potty trained, and knows sit. She is a flight risk so an adopter must be committed to leash walking her or having a very secure fence.  If you’re interested in adopting Maple, please apply online at https://www.trackingintheshadows.com.
