Story
We found Ruby abandoned on New Years Eve. We searched for her owner and found no such person, she was not microchipped, skinny and scared. We brought her in with the plan to get her spayed but due to holidays, everything was slow moving. While we waited for her appointment - we realized she was expecting. On February 6th she delivered 6 puppies who were all healthy and beautiful. After weening them, she was spayed and became ready for rehoming. Her puppies left one by one, but no one had interest in this sweet girl. One person did come forward, only to let her down the day before she was to meet her new family. So here we are. We have 6 children and other pets including dogs and cats. Ruby loves all of them. She is sweet, gentle and absolute loves belly rubs and basking in the sun just as much as she loves a good nap on the couch. She is well behaved and loves being next to her humans. At 43 lbs she is much smaller than her huge heart.

He may be a little shy at first, but once he warms up, he’ll be your little shadow—always wanting to be right by your side. He’s great with dogs, cats, and kids, and has a fun, energetic personality. Aubie walks well on a leash and absolutely loves treats (he’s discovering how great they are now!). He’s also been very patient with grooming and handling—such a good boy. Aubie can be a bit timid around men at first, but with a little patience and kindness, he will come around. He came from a situation where he was kept confined for long periods, so he’s still learning that the world is a safe and happy place. He is doing really well with his potty training and making great progress every day! He already keeps his crate clean and, with consistency, will be fully trained in no time. Despite his past, Aubie is just happy to be loved and included. He’s already showing what an amazing companion he’s going to be. 💛 💲 Adoption Fee: $400 This includes his neuter, vaccines, parasite prevention, and microchip.
