𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐃: We are so excited that we've received SO many applications – time to review.⁠⁠ ⁠⁠ — Meet Sky!  She's good with everyone—dogs, cats and older kids—and is happiest with calm, easygoing companions. She's a bit of a softy and doesn't do well with very dominant dogs. She's house trained, loves her people and, although she can be a little nervous at first, once she trusts you, she's incredibly loyal. She does have some anxiety from her past, so she'll need a patient home where she can take things at her own pace. She's not quite available for adoption yet. We're taking some time to get to know her better and make sure she's healthy and ready for her forever home. Stay tuned! 🐾💕

We're looking for a very special adopter for sweet little Nilla. 🤍🐩 This 2-year-old, 22 lb Mini Poodle/Aussiedoodle mix is located in Kelowna, and we're hoping to find her a home nearby so we can continue offering support as she settles in. Nilla must have another dog and a securely fenced yard. She gets along beautifully with her foster's resident dog and takes her cues from them. A confident canine companion will help her continue building confidence and learning that the world can be a safe, happy place. 🐶 Nilla is a gentle, quiet, low-energy girl with so much potential. She hasn't shown aggression, but she is sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements. We're looking for a calm, low-key household with adults or older, dog-respectful children. Nilla is a flight risk, so her adopter must be committed to keeping her secure and supervising her outdoors, even in a fenced yard. She needs patience, consistency, and time to build trust. 💕 Her sweet personality is starting to shine! She loves cuddles, sitting on her toys, and baths, her very own little spa day! 🛁 She's gaining confidence on walks and ignores barking dogs. She also calmly walks past her foster's cats without a second look. Nilla is almost fully housetrained. Crate training and becoming comfortable with time alone are still a work in progress. We know this is a big ask, but Nilla can't just go anywhere. We want what's best for her, a home where she can feel safe, build confidence, and be set up for success. 🤍

At around 9 years old and 15 lbs, Salem is a sweet, snuggly Maltese Poodle cross who has mastered the art of taking life easy. 💕 He's wonderful with other dogs, loves people, and with proper introductions would likely be a great match for kids, too. Salem walks beautifully on leash, is fully crate trained, and is housetrained with a routine. When left home alone, he's trustworthy to have out of his crate in restricted areas of the home. 🏡 He may be low energy, but he still loves going for walks—and then coming home for some serious cuddles! 🥰 He has a collection of favourite stuffies that he happily drags around the house, and he's always ready to show up for a treat. 🧸🍪 Salem is an easygoing, affectionate little guy who would love a cozy home where he can enjoy walks, stuffies, snacks and plenty of snuggles. ❤️ Salem hasn't been tested with cats.
