Looks like: Miniature Poodle mix Male, 7 years old (estimated), 14 pounds Doodle is a sweet senior gentleman with a soft, fluffy coat and an even softer heart. After enduring a difficult past, he's now ready to leave those hard days behind and settle into the peaceful, loving home he's always deserved. This charming boy is all about the simple joys in life -- cozy beds, gentle walks, and quiet moments spent by your side. Doodle has a calm, easygoing nature and a soulful presence that makes him the perfect companion for someone looking for a loyal, low-key friend. Doodle has had some tough days in his past but he is focused on the future and getting to know his next family. All he needs now is a safe place to land and a person to call his own. Doodle prefers the companionship of his people to be around much of his day as he's just so happy to have his friends around. He gets along beautifully with dogs big and small and would love to land in a home with other canine companions. Doodle the Poodle joined POMDR after being rescued from a severe hoarding situation with 14 other dogs. Due to the high volume of dogs and his senior status, we were happy to have him join the POMDR pack while he finds his forever home.

Looks like: Poodle mix Female, 9 years old (estimated), 12 pounds Tarzan and Jane are a bonded pair who just couldn't possibly get any sweeter. Tarzan is a sweet, gentle boy with a tender heart. Jane, his devoted partner, is also incredibly loving but has very limited vision. And this is where their story truly shines: Tarzan is Jane's rock and her guide. He helps her navigate the world, offering comfort, confidence, and quiet reassurance wherever they go. Where she hesitates, he leads. Where she's unsure, he stands close. Together, Tarzan and Jane face long odds through no fault of their own. They don't need much, just a safe, quiet home, soft beds, and someone willing to open their heart to two dogs who have already proven how deeply they can love. If you've ever thought about doing something truly meaningful, please consider opening your heart to this sweet pair. Tarzan and Jane joined us from Hitchcock Road Animal Services. They were picked up as strays. Due to their senior status and Jane's vision impairments, they felt they would do best in the hands of a senior rescue.
