Hi, I'm Charlie! I love to play and have fun all day. My sisters and I were living in the cold outside, covered in filth and fleas when we were rescued by WAAL. I have some hair loss on my toes from mange, otherwise I am one handsome guy. Whether we're playing fetch or cuddling on the couch, I'm happy as long as I'm with you. I get along great with other dogs and cats, and I adore kids! They make the best playmates. If you're looking for a friend who will always be excited to see you and ready to brighten your day, I'm your pup! I promise to bring joy and lots of love into your home! Story
Beautiful, young Lola is a Sheepadoodle, a Sheepdog and Poodle mix, who is loyal, affectionate, playful, and loves being part of the family. She can be shy at first, but once she feels safe and settled, her confident, fun-loving personality really comes out. Lola is dog friendly, but transitions into a new home can be difficult for her. She may be a little on edge during those first few days, so slow introductions, patience, and time to adjust are important. She can also guard her kennel or other spaces she considers safe while settling in, so she’ll need someone willing to provide consistent boundaries and help her understand that she doesn’t need to protect those spaces. Lola loves children once she feels comfortable with them, but she needs kids who can recognize and respect her cues. Older, dog-savvy children who know when to give her some space would be the best fit. She is potty trained, kennel trained, very smart, and loves spending time with her people. With her Sheepdog background, she also has some natural herding tendencies and will thrive with a family who understands those breed traits and can provide plenty of exercise, structure, attention, and engagement. The adjustment period may take a little patience, but once Lola knows she is safe and understands her new routine, she is a wonderful, loving dog who truly wants to be part of the family.
