Story
🇺🇸 Meet Ransom — The Freedom Litter ❤️🤍💙 Ransom has spent the first 5½ months of his life waiting for a freedom he didn’t even know existed. Born in a shelter as part of a hoarding court case, Ransom and his siblings have spent their entire lives living in kennels. They didn’t get the puppyhood most dogs experience — no cozy beds, walks around the neighborhood, playing in a backyard or curling up next to their person at the end of the day. But Ransom’s wait is finally over. He’s FREE. ❤️ 🐾 About Ransom * 5½ months old * Mom was approximately a 40 lb Doodle * Dad was approximately an 80 lb Poodle * Expected to be a larger dog when fully grown * Born and raised entirely in a shelter environment Ransom has missed some very important puppy milestones and socialization during his first months of life. Things like potty training, leash walking, household routines, car rides, meeting new people and experiencing the everyday sights and sounds of life are all things he still needs to learn. And that’s okay. He’s finally getting his chance. 🏡 Ransom needs more than just an adopter — he needs a teacher, a cheerleader and a family committed to showing him the way. His new family will need to be patient and understand that he may be unsure or overwhelmed by things other puppies take for granted. He’ll need structure, consistency, positive reinforcement and plenty of time to build his confidence. There will be challenges, but there will also be some pretty incredible moments — because his family will get to watch him experience so many things for the very first time. 🥹 The first time he sleeps peacefully in a warm bed. The first time he gets excited when his leash comes out. The first time he realizes toys are meant for playing. The first time he chooses to come to you because he trusts you. And the first time he realizes this is home. ❤️ Ransom didn’t get to choose how his story started, but someone very special gets to help write the rest of it. He doesn’t need a perfect home. He needs a patient one. A loving one. And most importantly, one that will never give up on him. 🇺🇸 The ransom has been paid — his FREEDOM. Now let’s find this boy his forever home. 🐾❤️

Story
🇺🇸 Meet Rebel — The Freedom Litter ❤️🤍💙 For the first 5½ months of his life, Rebel has only known the inside of a shelter kennel. He and his siblings were born in the shelter and remained there while they waited to be released from a hoarding court case. Now, Rebel is finally FREE — and his real life gets to begin. 🥹❤️ Rebel has never known what it feels like to have a home of his own, a soft bed to sleep in, a family waiting for him, or someone to show him just how good life can be. He is ready to leave his past behind and learn what it means to be loved. 🐾 About Rebel * 5½ months old * Mom was approximately a 40 lb Doodle * Dad was approximately an 80 lb Poodle * Expected to be a larger dog when fully grown * Born and raised entirely in a shelter environment Because Rebel and his siblings have spent their entire lives in kennels, they have missed many of the normal developmental and socialization milestones puppies experience in their first several months. Rebel is not going to arrive knowing how to be a family dog. Things most puppies learn early — walking on a leash, potty training, household noises, meeting new people, riding in a car, exploring new places and simply living inside a home — may all be brand new to him. 🏡 The family Rebel needs We are looking for a patient, committed family who understands that his transition will take time. He will need structure, consistency, positive reinforcement and someone willing to introduce him to his new world at a pace that makes him feel safe. There may be accidents. He may be unsure of new things. A leash may feel strange. Everyday sights and sounds may initially be overwhelming. His family will need to celebrate the little victories and understand that his confidence will grow with time and experience. ❤️ Rebel doesn’t need someone looking for a perfect puppy. He needs someone willing to help him become one. He has already spent the first 5½ months of his life waiting. Now it’s Rebel’s turn to have a warm place to lay his head, people who love him, adventures to experience and a family that will never make him wonder where he belongs again. 🇺🇸 Rebel is FREE. Now he just needs a HOME. 🐾❤️

Story
Meet Freya! 🐾💕 At a dainty 17 pounds, sweet little Freya is a resilient girl looking for a loving home to help her continue shining. Though she started out shut down and timid, watching her true, playful personality bloom has been nothing short of magical. Give her some time and patience to feel safe, and she’ll be sitting right beside you, ready for love! Freya is a social butterfly with other dogs! She loves making friends of all sizes—from 5 lbs to 140 lbs—and gets genuinely excited to play. Having a confident canine brother or sister in her home would be a huge bonus to help build her confidence. Once she gets happy, her enthusiasm shines! She takes a minute to settle her excitable jumps when greetings start, but her sweet energy is infectious. She loves a good game of fetch and will happily retrieve the ball for you. We don't know Freya's exact history, but we know she had a rough start. She can be timid and skittish around people at first, backing away until she feels safe. With patient, gentle handling, she warms up and lets you hold her. She doesn't seem to know standard commands yet, so she is a clean slate waiting for positive-only reinforcement training. Freya is a potty training champion! So far, she has zero accidents in the house or in her crate! She walks nicely on a leash and is ready to explore the world with you. She does well in her crate and could use some space that's just for her in her new home - a place to feel safe and unbothered while she settles in. Freya is a resilient, affectionate little gem who just needs a patient heart and a cozy lap. Will you be her safe place?
