I brought Bentley home from a pet store in the Bronx when I was 18 and going through a difficult time in my life. Since then, he's been by my side through college and even moved with me to Suffolk County. He's been a constant companion through many changes. Recently, I started a new job with much longer hours, and I've realized I can't give Bentley the time and attention he deserves. Instead of leaving him home alone for most of the day, I've made the difficult decision to find him a loving home where he can receive the companionship and care he needs. Bentley is a sweet, loyal dog who deserves a family that can spend more time with him. My hope is to find someone who will love him as much as I do and give him the happy life he deserves.

Story
I recently brought Nova home to be a companion for my first dog, Bentley, since I had started working longer hours and didn’t want him to be alone all day. They bonded almost immediately, and it has been such a blessing to watch their relationship grow. Nova is an incredibly cuddly, affectionate, and funny dog and she and Bentley truly complement each other so well. As much as I love them both, I’ve come to realize that balancing a demanding work schedule with the time, attention and care that two dogs deserve has become more than I can realistically manage. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but I want to do what’s best for Nova by finding her a home where she can continue to receive all the love, companionship, and care she deserves.

Meet Niles, 2 year old Cavapoo. Niles has been such a special part of my life and has brought so much love, happiness, and laughter every day. Niles is affectionate, friendly, playful, gentle, and loves being around people. He enjoys cuddling, going on walks, exploring new places, and relaxing close to his favorite humans. He has a sweet personality and easily becomes part of the family. I am looking for a new home where Niles will receive lots of love, attention, and patience. I would love for him to be with someone who has time to spend with him and will treat him like family. My biggest hope is that he finds a safe, caring home where he can continue to be happy and loved. This decision was not easy, and I only want the very best future for Niles. 🐾
