Story
Hello, I am in desperate need of finding Aurora her forever home. I took her in 3 years ago from a very unfortunate situation, where she was severely underweight as she wasn't being fed regularly, spent most of her time crated or alone outside. Her "owners" admitted they thought she was old and were just waiting for her to die. I couldn't leave her there and I convinced them to let me rehome her. I rehabbed her the best I could and showed her love. I planned to rehome her, but I ended up keeping her with me for the past 3 years, because I was so fearful she would end up in the wrong hands again. I am unfortunately no longer able to keep up with her care or afford her basic needs due to lack of help and financial inability. She deserves security, and to have the best life with whatever time she has left. I have to be honest with myself and admit it isn't me anymore. She is not able to live with other dogs due to dog aggression. She has a lot of love to give and is very smart and sweet.

Yona is the Cherokee word for “Bear”.Yona is an 11-year-old dog who doesn't act his age! We rescued him in 2016, and he is still full of energy and love. We are rehoming him because our time is limited with a new infant, and Yona deserves more attention than we can currently provide. We are unsure of his breed. Yona is:• 11 years old and full of energy• Housetrained, leash trained, and crate trained• Neutered and loves his routine• Enjoys playing fetch and sitting on laps• Tolerates cats but prefers being an only petHe has been around children but would do best in a home without children where he can be the center of attention. He loves his toys and is a wonderful companion who just wants to cuddle and play. He will greet you with a smile and love to sit on your lap. He is very trainable and loves treats. Rehoming fee: $100
